I’ve been a long-time customer of Lowcountry Pet Wellness Clinic and recently took my dog there for her yearly shots. I continue to be impressed with how convenient the process is. One of the standout features is that no appointment is necessary. They have open clinic days, typically two to three days a week, where you can simply walk in during their normal hours.
The check-in system is efficient. You sign in when you arrive, and they have a great system for keeping track of your place in line. It can get busy, so I recommend showing up as early as possible before they open to secure a spot, but once you're there, everything flows quickly.
One of the biggest perks is that they don't charge for an actual vet visit, meaning you only pay for the shots or medicine your pet needs. This makes it a very affordable option for pet owners, especially if you're caring for animals on a budget.
As a long-time customer, I highly recommend Lowcountry Pet Wellness Clinic as a budget-friendly and efficient alternative to a traditional vet visit.

If I could give this place zero Stars I would. The way that the vet tech Holly treated me as if I was dumb and didn't understand how to take care of my pet was very undermining. Honestly if I could get her fired I would. Also, she said something to me and then went behind my back and said something rude about me and thought I didn't hear her. I will never bring my pet back there until she is fired.

Pretty much every bad review is ppl complaining about the clinic not being what it’s not claiming to be! This is a low cost walk in clinic, mainly for vaccinations. They do dental service’s, as well as some other services. But it’s first come, first serve…
For spay & neutering, as well as some other surgeries they may do. I believe it’s like a 8am drop off time that you must not be late for. As long as you follow the clear and easy instructions you are given? Everything generally runs very smoothly! As with ANY type of walk-in clinic for anything? Wait times will always very. And the more ppl that come in that day? The longer the wait will be.
If you want an appt time, and faster service? Go to an actual veterinarians office! You will pay double or more at a lot of places.
LCPW does a wonderful service, and offers excellent care at a fraction of the cost as most places around Charleston. Even with the current economy, they have not price gouged the way almost every business around town has. They should be commended for this…

I also want to take the time to show our appreciation for the tech’s Holly and Gaby. They are wonderful and really know what they are doing and saying. And are wonderful with our dogs. And the sign in girl Liz is absolutely wonderful. She is very sweet and informative. Despite the ppl I’ve seen arguing with her and being mean over things that’s beyond her control.
If everyone would just pay attention to what you need to do? Everything would go much smoother for everyone…
Stop trying to blame your mistakes or misunderstandings on the staff! They don’t deserve that. They always try their best to give everyone the best service as possible. And are wonderful with all of our pets…

My appointment was at 11:30am. I arrived inside at 11:32am in an unfamiliar area and was told I would not be seen due to strict time guidelines. I asked if there was a grace period for new customers being that I was only 2min late. I was told No. I was met with no compassion. Although I'm sure Bleu would have benefited from the services I will not be returning.
