This location is by far the best store in Charleston. It's has bright lighting (to ensure that you aren't purchasing stained clothes or broken items), it's well organized and clean with a large variety of everything. My only issue is customer service, there is always one cashier working which makes for a very long wait (if you're inclined to stand there).UPDATE...I am traveler and I love thrift shopping and bargain hunting. The Palmetto Goodwills in and around N. Charleston are the best.My only problem is the location on Rivers Ave. It is the worst. The store is always dark and its extremely unorganized with items that should be thrown in the trash.

This location is by far the best store in Charleston. The inventory is decent. If you’re looking for vintage pieces this isn’t the place to shop. There’s a young lady with locks in her hair that wears glasses that works there and lacks customer service skills. She acted as if she was annoyed to be working. Besides that my experience was pleasant.
