Hours posted on the web are not correct. If you can find a working number call it before going to that location and talk to someone on-site. Might be decent during the day but at night, hate to say it, but it can be scary AF. On bad advice I stopped there on a weeknight and found the shop closed. I was staying nearby in another area of North Charleston and didn't realize that shops close early. Heck even Walmart had closed. (In other areas of the US Walmart can be open 24 hours or till midnight.) I needed some staples. Cream for coffee, couple eggs, bread, etc. You'd be surprised how hard it is to locate once 10p rolls around. Security bars on the doors and windows. That should give you some indication of where you're at. Although the shop looked closed my co-pilot insisted I check for sure. All the lights were on but to me it looked closed. Parking lot was empty except for a couple cars parked to one side. As I'm walking back to my car; this Wile E. Coyote, bug-eyed, cray cray looking dude is running towards me and lunges at my car. Got the F out of there so fast. I laugh about it now but in the moment felt like the opening scene to a scary thriller. In my mind I could hear someone giving a eulogy; why did this dude stop at this sketchy a.. looking place? A suggestion to whomever; bright flood lights and a blue light camera that connects you directly with cops would be helpful. Google has many reviews for this business but very few give you a clear picture of what to expect when visiting. If you must, go during the day. On Google they average 4 stars for low pricing on liquor and a wide selection of grocery staples.
