Not my normal food stop, but the wife was shopping for bra's at the mall. Since I am not gonna be much help in that department, I went off to find something to feed the hunger. Bearing in mind that this is a food court, my rating are compared to what might be expected at a food court stall. a 4 star rating here does not mean it was as good as a sit down restaurant with 4 stars. I do this in my normal style: Location, Service, and food. Rating with 1 - 5 stars, and then coming up with an average Yelp score. Location: Dairy Queen (and Orange Julius) is at the central food court. Not the busiest stall or the flashiest, but it had a 5 buck lunch deal that I could not pass up. Chili cheese hot dog, chips, drink, and a small strawberry sundae for $5. Counter was clean, but seemed out of date compared to the other stalls. Most of the prep work is done in the back it seems, so not much going on up front. Rate a 3. Service: The guy working the counter was polite and knew what he was doing. Chatted a bit as my order was prepared. Order was done quickly and came in a paper bag so it can be taken away easily. Rate a 4 Food: The hot dog was precooked . The chili came in the normal steam table container. Cheese was shredded cheddar not that gluey cheese sauce, thank God. While it was heated in a microwave, the dog and chili had a good flavor, and was hot. Seeing that this came with chips, sundae and drink, it was a good bargain for a typical overpriced food court lunch option. Rate a 3.5 Overall, I gave a 4. The service and value put it over the top and bumped it up from a 3 (3.5 actually). If cash is an issue, this is a good way to fill the void in your stomach with something much tastier than something that came out of a vending machine.

We appreciated the time the gentleman working took to resanitize a blender to make sure it was safe for our peanut allergy kid! Being an allergy family involves missing out on a lot of special treats, but today my son got to enjoy something special.

This place serves regular food as the full restaurants. However, this place does not serve everything in the full restaurants. I saw an ad on TV and went to get it and was informed I would have to drive to the full location which is about 3 miles down the road if I wanted that special.
