I called about my washing machine going crazy during spin mode. Sounded like the drum was hitting all the walls of the machine. The service tech came to the house and took down the model # and watched it on spin mode. He never opened up the washing machine but said it was probably the shock absorbers….it very well could be but wouldn’t want to look at them first? He came back with a quote that includes the $125 service fee (the fee for just coming out to the house and diagnosing the problem). I feel like most companies waive the fee if they end up doing the work. Anyway the repair cost with the service fee ended up being the cost of a new washer. The technician was nice though.

My fridge stopped working and within 2 hours of my call, Chris came out and replaced the relay on the fridge and got it working right away. He was friendly and explained everything to me. Lesson well learned. I waited on my home warranty's recommendations for a refrigerator repair person for ten days with no call from either of two vendors. Called Charleston Appliances and Repairs, spoke with Jimmy, sent address and pictures and a description of the issue. Within ONE day, Chris was out and diagnosed/corrected the issue. Jimmy is most personable and helpful. Best $125 ever spent. I would rely on Chas. Appliances & Repairs for any future appliance issues. Thank you gentlemen!
