Good place with many things and good prices

At approximately 9:39 p.m. I was not able to have an experience because I was told by the person at the door that they were closed. Now looking at the website and looking at Google maps it shows that they close at 10:00 p.m. I'm right now sitting in the parking lot. Making this message and it's it is nowhere near 10:00 p.m. I'm very dissatisfied and very unhappy that I was unable to go into a store that closes at 10:00 p.m. and to have someone tell me they're closed and it's nowhere near that time frame. I hope someone gets this message because I am not pleased and neither were the other couple that I witnessed get turned away from the door as well

I absolutely love it here the prices of everything are amazing considering other places. You can get some name brand stuff really really cheap here and they have basically everything you can think of here.

I would like to express my frustration and the bad experience I recently had. In the last 22 years that I have been a loyal customer at Burlington. Including when the store opened in West Ashley in South Carolina. Last week my family (husband and mother) visited the store and expended over $1500,00 dollars in several transactions. We have contributed for over two decades with thousands of dollars.
On 5/09/24 around 7:40 pm trans: 35610at Store: 01030 reg. :003.
My mom 88 years old and I had a very uncomfortable experience at the above store with the register and the manager.
I am a 50 year old female, Latina with a brain injury due to several chronic strokes. While trying to purchase a small gift to my house cleaning lady who is helping me take care of my home due to my health condition I decided to stop by really quick because the following day she was coming and I appreciate it even that we are in her route.
While being at the register with a.very young female employee who at first was kind enough to asked for my phone number and I appreciate it. However, forgot to say thank you due to my brain condition. Everything was going smoothly until I was encountering issues while swiping my debit card. The machine was not reading it. I tried three different cards if I am not mistaken. I started to become nervous. This is how the brain ? was reacting. I said to the young lady: please don’t take it personally it’s not you. I have a brain disability. However, she was so focus on her narcissistic behavior that she not even looked at me. Another cashier arrived at the register trying to assist the young employee and me. She at first was polite and kind. The cashier (assigned to the above reference receipt).
said: Do you want me to call my manager? She said, I never requested it until while I was standing at the counter she called the next in line. Another female customer approached to the counter trying to place her items in other words with no respect we both were standing at the same register within seconds. I said to the customer: I am not finished. The customer was about 12 inches from me replied: “she called me,
I spoke to her in Spanish: The female customer holding her merchandise replied “I speak English” It felt like she got offended. I didn’t know that by being a bilingual speaker is a disadvantage. I immediately asked for the manager.
While waiting for the manager I told the cadhier I told you I have a brain disability but you decided not to listen.
She replied: I was being nice to you.
I said: at first but you started to have an attitude, she interrupted me saying “I wasn’t” .
Finally, I used a fourth debit card from South Carolina Federal Credit Union like the others. That finally went through. This is not the first time this issue happened at Burlington.
When the alleged “ manager “ arrived she was standing behind the cashier like she was there as an observer! I asked her: Are you the manager?
Manager said: yes
I replied: It don’t look like because you just standing there listening to her like if she’s the manager.
Manager said: I am listening.
I said: You supposed to ask me like a manager how you can help me and listen to me because I am the customer not “a lady”. The manager after what I told her then moved in front of the acting manager (the young cashier).
I repeat myself in regard to the brain disability and explained more in detail about the strokes. I didn’t have to do that. But this is how my brains reacted. This so called manager looked at me like if I was looking at myself five years ago, like a walking dead person with no emotions at all like I was talking to a wall.

I've shopped items worth 1500 yesterday and tried to apply for a credit card which would give me additional 10% discount. The manager claimed that the system was down and it was not taking the application for credit card which would have saved me about 150$. Which is a big saving ?
