I purchased jewelry from Barry’s in December and it wasn’t ready till March’24. I live in California. I called and spoke with Carol who had a mouth full of cake ? at the time and said “oh I mailed your purchase via post office as a favor without signature or insurance and it’s in the post office hands now. “Well this item is lost, Carol didn’t take accountability for her actions and she isn’t even being helpful with the claim. I tried to be polite and professional and work with both Barry/Carol to resolve the issue and create insurance claim. However both didn’t take accountability or collect my information or give me a claim #. Carol reached out to a family member regarding my claim but not me! The lack of unprofessionalism and respect is beyond frustrating. I’d never shop here!! Crogan’s is the best way to go.

THIS ABSOLUTELY CANT HAPPEN-I am a HUGE advocate of customer service and it must be said that I had an absolutely horrible experience when I first walked in. I recently got married and purchased a band from a separate establishment but they recommended to get it sized to go to Barrys. My initial phone call was great and they answered all my questions.(I spoke with someone who was very nice).When I got to the store I was greeted but the person who I spoke with over the phone but she was helping someone else and asked me to go to the front desk. I did and was greeted by a taller woman who was a little older. I had on a Cornell Sweater and immediately I noticed she looked at me with disdain.Instead of conducting business she asked..."You went to Cornell"?? I then said no, but my good friend did and gave it to me". She then replied "Well did you hear what they said about the Jews"???Like HUH? What does that have to do with the most important day of life..my wedding??? Her tone began to change and she tried to continue the convo. I stopped her and said the gentleman who gave this to me is actually Jewish. and she then replied "Well ask him about it..he should know"..TERRIBLE way to conduct business. I didn't say anything at the time because I was afraid they would sabotage my ring.The only reason I gave 3 stars is because when I called back to pick up the ring the guy was AMAZING! The job was done perfect and I had no issues but that lady really left a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth. Never should political issues be brought up to a customer especially one spending good money.I hope she will be reprimanded and told to never do that again.

Horrible service and the attendant had no idea what she was talking about. The place is selling stickers at the counter but she tried to tell me that my necklace only had diamonds on every other link. But then she said the owner would need to be there to appraise it. Yes, maybe because he would be able to see that there are diamonds on each link!!

Had a great experience here. Although I wasn’t purchasing anything, Barry still took time out of his day to give me an idea what my jewelry was worth and was very insightful. 10/10 Will come back.

This place is a Gem in itself! I needed my Rolex sized down and Barry’s Jewelers was recommended.I called and asked about the turnaround time for taking the links out. I was told by the nice lady they do that on site…I was happy!I walked in, it took Barry not even five minutes. Whilst waiting I browsed their jewelry selection and I was amazed! Why? They have a nice selection of Rolexes! ???The cost to remove the links was very reasonable and inexpensive:)10+ stars for this place! I was treated like *Gold*!!!
