Ordered a large item. It arrived in excellent shape. I got a call as soon as it was headed to Charleston terminal to set up delivery. I got automated reminder the day before. I called to check in on delivery day early that morning. I was told he would be my way shortly. I’m downtown and we have to black space do delivery has a place to park and do not have to sit in the middle of a busy street. Few moments later driver was a few blocks away. All went smooth. Excellent customer service and staff. Thank you very much!

Called to set up a delivery, informed them that since I worked on a special military base, I was not able to have my phone during the day. Fortunately my roommate would be home all day and gave them his number to call when it was time....They called my phone. Did not deliver. Cannot reschedule delivery. Now I have to go pick it up.

Went to the ABF on rivers ave. We ended up getting a bedroom suite with lots of info and help from Lamar. I haven't bought new be furniture in a while. Lamar was able to get me what I wanted at a decent price. Thanks!

This team did great work. The drivers were very professional and courteous both on the drop off and pick up. The phone support was great in SC and the national line. The local number back in Washington was a little gruff, maybe they were just having a bad day. The move was easier than I'd expected and there were no hidden fees, overall this was a very pleasant experience. One suggestion - give a better window of time for the pickup and drop off. The window given was a whole day, which made it harder to coordinate help with loading and unloading.

Started off great in that the online reservation process worked well and the truck was delivered and picked up very timely. It went downhill from there. First off I was billed $500 above the estimate that I was given on line. The online area said the trailer could be stored at the origin or destination. My house was not yet done so I figured I would just store it at the destination until my house was ready. Apparently the fine details in the email they sent me after the reservation says storing of trailers is not an option. The person I spoke with at the Charleston store was reasonable and tried to be accommodating. When I wrote to the customer service at the main company they were extremely unhelpful. They basically gave me 2 days to get the trailer out or would charge me $250 a day even though their website was deceiving. The final straw came when I got a condescending email from the customer service. If you do decide to go with this company make sure you read every fine detail of the emails they send because they do not stand behind what is written more largely on their website.

I used ABF uPack to move from PA to SC. They were wonderful all around. Great communication, customer service, and worked with me. The drivers were all superb as well. I have already recommended to look into ABF for friends and their long distance moves

Best move we have ever had. From the initial call, they were helpful with advice. The communication was excellent. We knew exactly where things were be it from delivery of the truck, transit of our things, or payment. The movers they supplied were of great experience. We would only use this service if we need to move again and it was much less expensive as we had to store our things for several weeks

We have used ABF's U-Pack moving division for our last two cross-country moves, from New Jersey to Iowa and Iowa to Charleston. They drop a 28 foot trailer at your house for you to pack and then pick it up and deliver it to your new address for you to unpack. Their service is relatively inexpensive (they charge by the foot, not the pound). Our only caveat is that you have to be careful with the packing as that is on you.
