I love Hope for Hooves Rescue! The animals are both well loved and well taken care of. I work at Madison Heights and take my residents there are often as we can go. The staff and volunteers are always welcoming to us. They work with my residents and accommodate our needs when we visit. My residents LOVE visiting this farm and we fall more in love every time we visit.

My friend had a saddle she used for years and wanted to donate it. She found hope for hooves and decided that was the place that needed it most. I asked if I could go with her and we made a day of it. Michelle and Autumn were very nice and we got to meet some of the animals on the farm. Beautiful place and she has a variety of activities that she hosts to bring in donations. Call about anything you'd like to do and she would probably have something for you. Very worthwhile cause.

Nice people with amazing hearts. I went here about a week ago, and had a lot of fun! The animals were very therapeutic to be around, and getting to interact with most of them was a ton of fun! I hope I can come back again, it’s really nice there! Definitely recommend to anyone who finds animals therapeutic as well! They have many animals (ducks, horses, ponies, donkeys, mules, chickens, pigs, goat, pig, llamas, cats, dogs, and a cow!…and probably more I may have forgotten). Definitely worth a visit! ?

I run an animal rescue, 501c3, in Kershaw. Prior to me starting my own rescue I met Michele from Hope for Hooves. My husband and I were looking to adopt a donkey or two and Michele had Thelma and Louise! We were approved and Thelma and Louise are living their best lives on our farm. Michele was very personable, accommodating, answered any and all questions from me and her stalls and grounds were neat and tidy! She personally introduced me to several of the mules and horses on the property, in my opinion, she went above and beyond. She explained what her mission was for her community and her mission for Hope for Hooves! She, unknowingly, put that little kernel of "maybe I should start a rescue and help out," and here I am! She doesn't know it, because of her over 75 cats and kittens have been pulled from euthanasia lists and have been rehabbed and re homed!

I have volunteered with Hope For Hooves for over a year now. It has been a joy to serve there, and I feel like I am where God wants me to be. The other staff is great to work with and our mission in the community is so worthwhile.

I love the whole idea behind taking in horses who have been abused and showing them a loving home. There is never a reason to abuse any animal, but I'm happy to know there they will live out their years in a happy, loving home.

Blossom showed me how Love heals. Loving on her and watching her attitude change from scared to a sweet loving and friendly mule it has totally changed my life. Hope for Hooves Rescue has given Blossom and her beautiful sister Ruthy which were badly abused a second chance to live a happy and peaceful life full of love and care. There are so many stories about all the amazing animals at the Farm. Take some time and schedule a Farm Tour to meet them.

This is the most genuine, authentic place filled with so much love from all directions. This is a rescue that can't be missed. The programs they implement - the kindness they share - the smiles they bring about - it's one in a million. Make a plan to stop by; you'll be changed for the better by the time you leave.
