I was vacationing in the area and I’m very prone to poison ivy, which unfortunately I got a bad case of it. My DR sent an electronic RX to the pharmacy near the resort I was staying at. I called the pharmacy and spoke to DeeJay. She was amazing making sure she had all my updated personal and insurance information and update accordingly. Deejay informed that they would have to order one of the RX for next day. I expressed concern that my poison ivy progressively get worse very quickly. As professional and friendly as Deejay was she told me she would call around to the other pharmacies to see if she could track down the medication that I needed. I’m amazed after an hour she called me and told me she located the medicine and transferred both medications to the pharmacy that had the medicine that I needed. After my first dose I felt immediate relief form the itching and now can enjoy my vacation.I can’t thank Deejay enough for her quick action and professionalism!! She truly went above and beyond her job duties and for that I’m extremely grateful!! She is a huge asset to the Walgreens Pharmacy!!

As a real American, I believe in the freedom of women to make their own choices about their own bodies. It's called bodily autonomy. It's a human right.Walgreens - the Fascist Pharmacy - does not believe in this.Shut. Them. Down.

De”Johanna at Walgreens was awesome and saved the day! I had a virtual visit appt with CVS that morning. The doc forgot to send half of the RX to the pharmacy I discovered after walking to CVS. When it was finally sent a few hours later it was sent to the Myrtle Beach CVS and a Charlotte, NC Walgreens! Needless to say this was no help since I was in MB! She jumped in and had them all transferred, no problem even after I offered to go to the CVS for the other portion. She said “no problem, I will transfer it here.” I was so grateful as I felt bad from a sinus amd chest cold and was running around trying to get my car from the dealer (also delayed, wrong and terrible service), had been in an Uber all morning, and half of my day was wasted on other peoples mistakes. . It happens, I get it, we are human but she was a Godsend today!!!Thank you Dejohanna, you saved the day! GREAT SERVICE, give her a raise!!!

I now use Walgreens for all my drug store needs. Very nice helpful people work there. I just hope the Walgreens at home is as nice and helpful as the ones down here in NC. And SC. Thanks

Don’t go there if you’re CHILD IS SICK. Extremely rude and lethargic a** holes work here. My child was sick and i needed medicine so I checked online and it showed available here so unfortunately i had to go to this particular location. After looking for it for 15 mins i asked for the help from a lady who was stocking. She was rude and uninterested in helping she said its in aisle 17. After looking for it for more than 15 mins in the whole aisle I could not find it. So i asked lady at the cash counter if she has any info. She said its not in aisle 17, its in aisle 16. She said i can not go back there even though there was no customer other than me . So i went for looking for it again and after 15 mins I couldn’t not find anything. So if Walgreen’s gonna hire this kinda lazy rude unhelpful as*holes who thinks theyre gonna loose some of their stockedup fat by going with me and helping me, Walgreens gonna soon have to file for bankruptcy.

Pharmacy leaves something to be desired.First, not the friendliest group of ladies.Second, not at ALL organized.Third, it is extremely obvious they are not happy with their career choices.Fourth, made an appt online for COVID booster and waited 50 minutes after scheduled appt for it to be administered. It took all of 10 seconds to get a shot in my arm. Meanwhile early this morning there were 19 available appointments. This is one reason perhaps Americans are not rushing to get vaccinated. ?Chase, If you are tired of reading about the complaints that are actually legitimate encounters with the pharmacy staff, then all you need to do my friend is stop reading these reviews. They ARE RUDE. Facts are facts. I understand running a little behind. However, it should NOT take 50 minutes for a booster vaccine WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I even had to walk back into the store because the mean AND YES RUDE heavy set lady filled out the vaccination card INCORRECTLY.

Walgreens always fills my prescriptions in a timely manner and goes above and beyond in making sure I know they’re ready.

Great store. My sister and i were visiting this store during our vacation and rang up by the lovely Deanna. She made great conversation with us and helped me sign up for the Walgreen’s reward program. She was super friendly and informative and I appreciated her. We also found all the items we were looking for since the store was so neat and organized.

It seems clear that the poor reviews for this store’s pharmacy receive no attention from management/owners. I can easily relate the same experience, that is, an excessively long wait time and poor customer service. After waiting over 40 minutes, I checked the status at the counter. The individual processing my order took 30 seconds to tell me it was “still being processed.”Around the 1 hour mark, I received a text stating it was “delayed” due to a problem with insurance information. They didn’t seem to know why I received this message. Fortunately, the pharmacist walked by and asked what the issue was. With her intervention, my prescription was filled in 5 minutes! After I paid, the woman tossed my prescription in my direction and wished me “a nice day.”FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY!

I get my prescription here, every month, for about a year.Only one time has it gone smoothly. They are SLOW!!!! The whole vibe is so awkward. The one girl, who is sort of nice,is a liar.(and bad at it) She will tell you,it's your doctor who didn't call in the script, but realistically they didn't check the messages. They will say ten minutes, which really means three hours. The large woman is not friendly. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. They don't greet you,and are always ready to leave. They will let you stand in line, not say a word, and turn their back on you to staple a paper or two,or walk away. Don't tell me ten minutes,if you know it's not going to be ten minutes.ITS ALWAYS LIKE THIS! People will say how busy it is,and the lack of employees. But four people should be able to move something.Other Walgreens have never, ever been this bad,in my life! I have to change pharmacies. I can no longer go here. Horrible!!! The one good thing,is the lady in cosmetics. Shes the lady with glasses, and so nice and actually does her job plus some. But the pharmacy, clearly hate being there. All they talk about is getting a day off. Hello, you are only in there for 8 hours/4-5 days...no weekends. Your not even open til 10 a.m You close at 5-6...lol. those are the easiest hours I have seen! They need to learn manners, customer service skills, and time management skills. I'm the most patient person, and when I break, you know there is a problem. I'm done with it!

Horrible Rude staff.Thers a saying. The staff, employees are only as good as the manager.. How ture it is.. Friday may 27, 22 I went inside the Walgreens on 38th Ave N in Myrtle Beach. There was a long line of people waiting for service.. No one was at the two rsgesters'. I saw who I thought was Bob the store manager.. I said hey John can you please help out the pharmacy. He actually yelled at me saying my name is Bob. (I think that's his name)Then he said they are working wait and someone will help you.Well finally two cashiers' came to the front counter. One polite young Black man.And one really horrible young heavy set black lady (wouldn't you know I get the rude one) instead of saying next she waves her finger at me to come to her counter. (how rude!!) I said to her do you men next? Do you men may I help who's next? She looked at me if looks can kill. She made a smart aclck remark to me I said to her.Dont wave your finger at me I'm not a dog. She said to the guy next to her. I'm not helping him.(I didn't want to go to such a horrible rude obnoxious person anyway..Bottom line is Horrible serviceHorrible staff. Horrible experience..Hope they all get fired..And if the location closes down I wont be supprised..
