They do not do what they say. They take your money, hold your car for days, and look for other things to charge you for. When they can't fix the issue, they refuse to return the money. If you want to get ripped off, that's the place to go to.

My dad has been coming to this autocare shop for as long as I could remember and recently I brought in my jeep to have some fixes made to it for the first time visiting alone. When I walked in I was greeted by Ryan who made me feel so comfortable in the shop and instantly knew what may be causing the issue in the jeep. We scheduled a time for me to drop off the car and he got to work fixing it and actually refused to let me pay until he knew the car was fixed. It was genuinely one of the best experiences I've had in an autoshop (including oil changes and any other services) and he is truly one of the last autocare specialists with genuine integrity in Myrtle Beach. He takes special care in his clients and truly made me feel safe and comfortable in a place that I had been nervous to go to by myself due to past experiences and fear of being screwed over or gouged as a woman. He has made a customer for life! Thanks Ryan!

We took my daughter in law's car here for a transmission problem. They had the car for 3 weeks and all they did was drop the tranny and told my daughter in law to search for parts, yes SHE had to search for the parts. Then they said it was more than a transmission issue. The transfer case is now in the back of the car. The axle needed repair. They said once they put the car up on the lift it has to stay there until it's fixed. THAT was a lie! They pulled the car down the same day and it sat on the lot until I finally sent a tow to get it out of there, but not until they charged me $1100!! Yes, $1100 to LOOK at the transmission and pull apart the transfer case!!!! The owner Ernie threatened to put a lien on the car if I didn't pay it, so naturally I paid it. Hell if I'll let him have my $30000 car. They did absolutely NO REPAIRS to the car!So now I have the car at a different mechanic who now has to put it all back together to figure out what was wrong with it in the first place since AUTOCARE has no clue how to work on a foreign transmission or how to order parts. One more thing, Ryan the manager was very polite and cordial. The owner Ernie was a friggin lunatic. Good luck to anyone who takes their car here for service.

We have been using Ernie for our Autocare needs for years! He is quick, reliable and honest! He even went out of his way to take me back to work while he finished up my car!

I've been going to AutoCare Services since 2015. Ernie, Adam and the rest have always been quick, fair, honest, and knowledgeable. They call me when it's done and if I can't get there before they close, we work out a way to pick it up after they close. They let me know what needs to be done immediately and what can wait a while. They've repaired my 2008 Sienna and CR-V, my 2004 Explorer, and now that my 2 years of free maintenance on my 2019 Highlander is up, they'll be servicing that soon. I only wish they were closer to my house, but it's not a problem as we are frequently down that way.

Have used them several times and each time it takes forever to get your car back and they never call you and let you know when it's finished. you have to call them several times and many times they don't answer the phone. They will fix your car with constant prodding and it will be expensive but they tend to put you on the back burner. They always seem to have an excuse in that an employee may be out because of a personal crisis or they are sick

This was the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic! This guy is straight as an arrow, which is exactly what you need if you don't know what some car part should really cost. If I lived in the Myrtle Beach area, Autocare Services is the only shop I would ever use.

Absolutely recommend to this Autocare service based on Myrtle beach, South Carolina. Drove from Charlotte to Myrtle beach and my car got flight tire because I banged on the curve and wasn't able to drive car anymore because it was totally off the air and my tire was broken. I called many Autocare services to fix my car to my hotel because I wasn't able to drive since it was totally off. None of the Autocare have coming in service, but luckily found this place and when I called them the owner picked up call and he was very helpful and I told him If they can come and pick our car and fix he said he will send his people to get the car fix. Am so glad the towing service was good he was nice and I asked him to if me and my sis can go along with him so when the car is ready we will drive back and he was okay and he took us to Autocare.. he was very friendly and curtesy. Well, they took 10 mins to changed my car tire and made sure everything is fine. Prices are very affordable and their customer service is phenomenal I would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you once again :)

Ernie and all the guys at AutoCare ServiceCenter have working with me and my vehicles nearly 6yrs. Even after moving to California and coming back they renember me. They are honest and do right by the consumer, even if your female and know little to nothing about cars.

I have an Audi convertible that is starting to act like a lemon recently so the guys have had a chance to repair the roof mechanism, the battery, the alternator and some relay switches causing starting issues, as well as some routine maintenance. They have been great in every way and I have really put them to the test. Much more economical than the previous people with better results. Doug Conaway
