“Since settling into the area the Murrells Inlet locale has been my goto spot as I pass by it daily on my post office run (eBay,etc). This location I want to visit more often then I do. It's almost always results in some good loot for resale or personal +1up loot. This is a breakdown of my visit and edit of this review on May 2023.I try and limit my time in the store and limit my pickings to the top tier resale items. I call it a speed run. This store however was so foreign to me and so packed with items my speed run lasted about 40 mins. I been doing 8-10 min runs through the other location. I did find prices that I was satisfied with on 6 times. I felt like some items were overpriced - stereo equipment, speakers, and some beat up torn up bicycles.Overall they price stuff 7/10. Murrels Inlet I say is better 8/10. It's probably not easy pricing to move yet maximize income.I love the big location here.I am disappointed they no longer have the PCs, computer stuff, printers here like they used to. Where does it go now? Online?Great #bargainhunter stop! To see and learn more please check me out on YouTube! I cover much more. Same name @eddiegebhard”
“Love this place! There's not too many places where you can still buy beads individually, and they have classes! They also have hand made wire jewelry for sell.”
“Very nice, clean and NOT cluttery! Plenty of room to move around without feeling like you're going to knock something over. I found some great buys too!! Nice friendly staff.”
“I have been trading jerseys for this guys for months never had an issue with them once and I pull recommended stop by to get great deals on various types of jerseys or technology”
“I like going there when i can but they close to early. I dont understand why any business would close so early. 4pm is when i get out of work so i rarely get to go in. I go there all the time but never get to make it inside lol.(i work very close by) so if you change your hours please let me know so i can blow my paycheck there!!!!”
“Well merchandised thrift store supporting a good cause. Stock seems to change frequently. Pricing for items is all over the place, with some reasonable and others not so much. When in doubt, just ask. Staff friendly and accommodating.”
“I love the Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas goodwills! You can find the best things at great prices! Unfortunately today I went in and they had decided to change their prices on items! Comforters are now 9.99 compared to 5.99$! And I’m not sure if this is a all around price change or just the Carolina Forests location because I have seen differences in different locations! It’s disappointing that the one place I love to shop for item I need for home on a budget is now charging more for used items! I don’t buy clothes there anymore because I can buy the same things new at Walmart for almost the same price! But it was very busy today, and found a couple little things, 2 toys for my dog and a crab to display on the wall with some star fish I purchased their weeks ago! The price changes going on everywhere are killing our low income class between gas, groceries, and housing and now the thrift shops are jacking prices up so high we can’t afford to spend those few extra dollars on used items!”
