My teenager is a student in Boone. We had to drive to Winston from our town for her to catch the bus back to campus after winter break. Which my teenager has done several times but I have not. The driver was 5-10 minutes late. He got off the bus. We were walking towards him with the bags. (I later found out, he asked another woman waiting where she was going, which was not boone). We stood directly in front of him and waited for him to open the baggage door or to "board" the bus. My daughter was wearing a neon yellow Appalachian State hoodie. He said absolutely nothing. I got a text and looked down at my phone, meanwhile the driver got back on the bus. I didn't realize this was significant. I didn't know if the button to open the baggage door was on the bus or what. Next thing I know he's pulling off! I tried to wave him down to no avail. I immediately called the company within seconds and the dispatcher answered right away. She claimed she could not get in touch with the driver to get him to turn around, although that is essentially her job as a dispatcher. After a lengthy conversation with this woman where she feigned confusion as to how this could happen and continually tried to blame us. I finally lost my temper and raised my voice. She hung up on me. NEVER did she or any other representative of this company calls us back, offer an apology, offer a resolution to our situation, or even a refund. No one in this company cared to find out if my teenager was stranded or had any means to get to campus where classes would be starting back the next day. My personal belief is that the driver was running behind, in a rush, and for whatever reason only beknown to him, he chose to assume that the five black people waiting but not sitting together must all be going to the same place. The next bus pulled up and I asked that driver if he could radio the other driver. He claimed he couldn't. Their attitude was "oh well, sucks for you".

Total lack of professionalism and courtesy. Cancelled several buses the day before a major trip, causing weekend plans for 130+ people to be changed. I would recommend using a more reliable company.

Horrible service, Me and other teachers had a school function that were we're going to take with Sunway, the day before we left they cancel all four busses reserved, the company is unreliable and flaky and not to be trusted

Anyone looking to be a driver for Sunway Charters at this location 212 Bush Drive Myrtle Beach please do yourself a favor and RUN!!! I had heard a lot of stuff about this company years ago but I thought they had changed when a friend of mine started working there wrong, well let me try to make it short I started in Jan 2020, I was terminated on Oct 30,2020 and didn't even know about it until I got a text message from Lisa Lewis on Nov 3, 2020 that I wasn't in the driver list anymore so I asked why she said she didn't know then I got a text from Lisa Lewis saying that Allison Carithers did my termination papers on Oct 30, 2020 now Allison is the terminal manager of Myrtle Beach since the terminal of Myrtle Beach has left the job and she the terminal manager of Winston Salem so how professional is that not to notify the employee that they have been terminate but your the terminal manager now was funny is I have a feeling why now I'm gonna tell you, we had a safety meeting on Oct 27th , so I was asking questions I guess she didn't like my questions and felt some type of way which wasn't anything rude , this is one of my questions , I asked how come Corporate didn't acknowledge the driver's that had been doing the trips all threw Covid especially when we went to NY, I had sent pics to my terminal Myrtle Beach and Lisa Lewis our sales lady sent out a email thanking all of us for being there when no other driver's wanted to work , I started in Jan 2020 and has always been on every trip which is only Parris Island , I even drove 9hrs one time to come back and help out with a trip because Lisa didn't have enough driver's but that wasn't appreciated, now also at the safety meeting another driver asked a couple of questions and Allison Carithers said to him in front of ALL!!! the driver's that if you don't like working here you can go work for another company now that is so unprofessional to say to a grown man that has children older than you 20 something , then the same driver was just making a statement then you had the safety manager Jacob don't know his last name he 20 something he said to the driver in front of ALL!!! the driver's I don't care if you been driving 55 yrs that's the way it is, now that's no way to talk to a grown man, now Nov 5, 2020 I called the Charlotte office spoke with the owner LEE don't know his last name never did know it, asked him why was I terminated he said he doesn't get in that he only signs the checks I said to him you need to get involve because I know more about what's going on more than you do, now Lee said he didn't know why then he said something about some threatening emails and texts to Lisa Lewis, and Allison Carithers now I don't know anything about that I wish I could post my emails and text messages to Lisa Lewis and my email that I sent Allison Carithers never a text message to Allison Carithers one thing I will NOT TOLERATE IS BEING LIED ON !!! now Lisa Lewis said wasn't anything wrong with my email that I sent to her. Allison thought she was being nasty in thinking she was making me unemployed but I'm grateful to own a few businesses of my own, Sunway Charter's wasn't my primary job , so don't come for me when I didn't send for you little girl you haven't lived long enough to come up against me, not once was I ever disrespectful to you or Jacob ever, but the same way you got that job God can take it away from you so get off your high horse because your not all that, see what you fail to realize is I work for myself make my own schedule and don't have to leave my house to go to work and put up with someone else's BS, so you think you got the last laugh Baby you just don't know ...So people you have been WARNED!!!! RUN, RUN, RUN I so thankful for social media so other people can know about a company before you spend your money or apply for a job...Look at the reviews that Sunway Charter's has from past employee y

Awesome company, the bus driver was very nice, the bus was clean. The people in the office were really helpful. Bus was on time. Well worth the money. I would totally refer and use this company again
