PICTURES AREN'T AS ADVERTISED. We went to Broadway at the Beach the day before and went into Sparkle's, my goddaughter got the brochure and talked to her parents and she wanted to go back. We were surprised at how aggressive the salesperson was about going right up to my goddaughter's head and asking to sprinkle sparkle dust on her, sales pitching her mom, and shoving the brochure in my goddaughter's hand. She really wanted to do it and was very excited to go, so we went back. What a DISAPPOINTMENT. We went on a rainy day, in the off-season and there was NO ONE in the store (an important part of this review). My goddaughter wanted the experience and went with the $45 package. It included hair, nails, a backpack, and some trinkets. The nail polish looked like it was put on by a 2-year-old and was put on in about 45 seconds, it was sloppy and the polish was on her skin as well. Part of the package is choosing from 4 different updos, she chose her style. As my goddaughter's hair is long enough, it still looked nothing close to the photo and the stylist was not very gentle while doing her hair. The whole experience was 10 minutes. For someone in their sales pitch made it sound like this was going to be a super fun experience, no fuss was made, there was no excitement or joy from the salesperson and it was very rushed. Not one person walked into the store the entire time we were there, so we still can't figure out why this was 10 minutes of sloppy service for $45. If you want to charge Disney prices, make it s Disney experience. You had the opportunity to make a little girl's day and you didn't take the time to do it. She would have had a better experience at a nail salon. SAVE YOUR MONEY. PS: The nail polish you pay $45 for comes off in 2 hours.

We stumbled upon this place while walking at Broadway at the Beach. A nice girl walked over to my daughter and asked if she wanted sparkles on her arms. She said yes and they sprinkled some on top. We went inside and it is a cute boutique. Prices are a little higher as they would be at a boutique. We are debating a makeover and will report back if we do it.

This is located next to the chocolate store so I had to take a peak in. It's part children's boutique and also they do face painting, and little girl mermaid and princess makeovers. I am sure this would be fun for a bday party. It is tight in there when it's busy so not sure how that goes. I found a couple cute baby outfits for my little granddaughter. This is definitely boutique prices so I only bought two. I can't comment on customer service because I didn't receive any until I went to register and even then their was no talking. Would I rerun ? Probably not, prices are high. I get adorable clothes at great prices at TJ Maxx and other stores like them. She grows so fast she doesn't need expensive clothes. They do have very cute clothes though.

Took my daughter here today for a glam makeover and she had the best time of her life. Ms Carley treated her like a princess and the store was full of such fun things for girls of any age. Great price for the experience

LOVE this place!! We brought our daughter here last night without realizing they were closing really soon. The girl working didn't seem to mind though and she made our daughters night really really special! I can't remember her name but she did amazing and really went the extra mile to put a smile on our daughters face. I will definitely be coming back!!

This store is everything!! As a mom of 3 girls, we've had nothing but amazing experiences every time we visit. I love that they make the girls feel so special. Plus, they have great quality clothing and accessories. Definitely check them out if you're in Myrtle Beach!

I worked here some time ago, and at the time management would take any lost accessories left behind by guests during their mermaid makeover, put a Sparkles tag on it, and sell it with the rest of the merchandise, with no labeling or hint at all that it was a used item. I visited a few months ago, and while I cannot be 100% sure, it appears that they are still doing the same thing. I would not recommend them based almost entirely on the fact that their business practices are shady. Actual products and services are nice, if a bit overpriced.

Stella celebrated her 4th birthday at the Tanger location & all the girls absolutely loved it. The staff is wonderful. Very caring & helpful.

What a special place!!! My daughter had a great time with a mermaid makeover to celebrate her 6th birthday. she also had her ears pierced. The staff was amazing!!! Their patience and encouragement were the best part of her experience. Anyone with little girls looking to do something special need to spend some time here
