Good selection but still pricey as outlets seem to be.

My wife and I went to buy shoes and found the store well stocked but the isles are tight to the point that you must turn side ways to pass another person. They only had about 5 one person benches in the whole store to sit on as you tried on the shoes and as an outlet the place was crowded with people, thus you were forced to try on your shoes standing in a tight isle. The store has plenty of places for benches and my wife asked the staff why there wasn't any more benches that what they had and was told it was a fire hazard. The fire hazard is the isles. Needless to the say the staff could care less if you bought something or not. Love Sketchers, but won't be buying them from this place.

Very disappointed in the service I received or should I say didn't. I wanted to purchase a shie but ny Suze was above my head after trying for 5 minutes to get a staff member I gave up and moved on. I ended up finding 1 pair and one for my husband. We went to pay, no hello- just an "over here" we moved over the next words out of her mouth were" are you saying cash?" I tried to converse with her but she responded with I need to know how you are paying. Then she put one pair of our shoes in a great drawstring bag then put the second in a plastic bag. I asked for a second bag with drawstring and she said she couldn't because she had to save them for other customers.Just ridiculous.

I go through about three pairs of sneakers each year. I have been wearing Brooks and New Balance. I decided to try Skechers. First i tried their outlet store in Carolina Forest. I walked out of there due to non-existant customer service.Today I tried their store near North Myrtle Beach. Again store help was non-existant, but I was able to find my size. Turns out these sneakers were buy one get one half price. I only needed one pair which then should have been 25% off. The cashier insisted on charging full price. I guess I will continue to wear New Balance and Brooks.Common sense and good customer service does not exist in Skechers. Their loss.

The worst experience returning a pair of Sketchers at the Tanger outlet. My husband had a pair of shoes for 3 DAYS and the soles started separating. The female returning them was extremely rude and loud and made a huge spectacle about us returning them WITH a receipt. Won’t return and Sketchers should screen better before they allow such RUDE & OBNOXIOUS people to be employed.

Uncluttered with a vast inventory of quality shoes with very fair prices. Crew was courteous and professional. I'll visit this store again.

Their selection was good but their prices were high. You could get a lower price elsewhere.

Clean and tidy. Service was slow in front of us. Bought some shoes and clerk was pleasant enough.

Large store, friendly staff. TONS of inventory, but alas, no satisfaction on this trip. As I get on in age, I have found the one pair of step-ins I bought back home to be real problem solvers. Being on a trip, I was looking for another pair, only in black. I was directed to the step-ins wall, only to find they had EVERY size and color...... except my size in black. I guess I'll look again when I get back to my home store.

Okay store with tons and tons and tons of athletic shoes. If you're in the market for great athletic/running/walking shoes that tie up onto your feet, this location has a huge selection with both feminine and masculine designs. The store is sorta-ish divided into various sections with no real signage. The flip-flop types are located near one another while the black-only work shoes are on a wall by themselves. The "slip-on and walk" shoes are all in one area, etc. There's no official signage keeping things apart, but items are grouped similarly. Size availability isn't great. Almost always 6s and 7s in most shoes - and finding 9s or 10s was a lot rarer. I skipped over quite a few styles because they just didn't have a size I could try on. According to some signs on shelves, they can "order in" any size I need, but as someone who can easily shop online, that defeats a bit of the purpose of being at an in-person store. Finding "wide fit" is definitely unique to some shoe styles - and the store is not easily sorted to make that simple. (Wides are intermixed with regular widths.) For being a "factory outlet", it was odd to find that all of the shoes were full-priced. There wasn't any sale going on, and none of the shoes seemed to be very marked down. There's a clearance section in the back sorted by shoe "gender" and shoe size to shop - just like any ol' store - but the "clearance" flip-flops were $30 a pop. Unlike the Crocs store I had just been in, no storewide sales, discounts, or anything. That's really one of my biggest complaints. It very-much felt like I could have (and probably should have) shopped the brand at a different retailer and enjoyed the retailer's storewide sales rather than dealing with the full price here. During my hour+ stay, no associates welcomed or interacted with me. In their defense, when I was second in the checkout line behind another customer who needed them to call other stores, the busy associate called into the stockroom to get another associate to check me out instead. It regularly felt like I would have been better-served shopping for what I was looking for online - which isn't how I want to leave any in-store retailer.
