I got a smile as I was walking in by the employees , There is plenty of parking, the place is clean. The machines are fairly new with plenty of them. why would anybody go to a different gym? can’t beat the price $24.

I love planet fitness a few things that I would change is how it is set up, I like the original way better. Also, after 8 pm, I feel all doors should be locked and you should be able to use your phone to get inside the building. Anyone can just walk in there

Is it your policy that a man who identifies as a women can use the women's locker room with teens young women and natural born females? If so that is gross and just asking for some weirdos to take full advantage of that policy. Have a guy who just says he's female when young teenage girls work out there is disgusting and I would be ashamed to work there or be a member supporting this. How old do you have to be to workout there 13 14? I wonder if the people working there would allow there child to share a bathroom with someone of the opposite sex.......

Wow, would not recommend. Use gravity and body weight its cheaper, more friendly and efficient. Unless you find a real gym.

I called a different closer location 3x today, 1.5.2024, and had no success at all, kept putting me on long hold times. I called here today, and spoke with Madison and she rocks~~ she answered all of my questions and had time to listen to my needs and explained the different programs that is offered. I will go here, the other closer place has the same unprofessional staff member, happy that I called here today... thanks again Madison...

Had a great time visiting this Planet Fitness while I was in town visiting families for the Holidays. Madison at the front desk was especially helpful and welcoming! Looking forward to returning the this PF the next time I am in town!

My first visit! The staff is so pleasant and helpful, the facility is SO clean! The amount of equipment is insane! I also appreciated the labeling and instructions on each piece. Got a great workout in!

Everyone here is very nice and friendly! There is a wide range of equipment, all very clean and in great condition. It's never very busy when I go so it's easy to use the equipment I need, there's never a long wait for anything. 10/10 compared to other gyms I've tried in the area, especially for the price!

This location is an absolute joke and I was warned by several people not to get a membership through this location. First, I got my membership and this location closed, so I couldn’t go in and cancel my membership even if I wanted to. I finally was able to go in and cancel and was told by others to be careful because they have been known to scam people and continue charging them, my situation was no exception. I got charged the yearly fee about a month after I cancelled and then realized that I was continuously being charged. According to the worker at the planet fitness location my account was “reopened” two months ago. According the the owner of this location I never cancelled and there is absolutely nothing she can do about the charges. Not sure how the employee could see that I cancelled, but not the boss. Seems like a money scam to me. The lady goes on to tell me I need to go back in and cancel AGAIN! Then calls me back and says that “actually she’ll take care of the cancellation even though she doesn’t typically do that. ”This will be the last time I get a planet fitness membership

I have not been impressed with this gym lately. People don’t wipe down the equipment when they are done, they just stand at a machine (which there is only one of) and talk for 15 minutes and nobody can use the machine, there aren’t enough machines and way too many treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. If you say anything to the staff all you get is “it’s a judgement free zone”. That’s why they came up with that saying, so the staff doesn’t have to deal with anything.

Staff was friendly they said hi and bye, coming and going. The place is big and not packed. The place was clean. One of the better PF I've visited.

PF in Myrtle Beach features up-to-date equipment and facilities. The team members are all very welcoming and professional. The classes are enjoyable and effective in in helping one meet his or her fitness goals.

***Planet Fitness Myrtle Beach has a whole new look! Still clean, but now very sleek and modern. The remodel has an appearance of the space being much larger AND there is TONS MORE equipment. I don't think I've seen one, to date, with three rows of treadmills; like 20 per row. The last time I visited this particular Planet Fitness was in 2021 and I was pleasantly surprised, when I walked in, this morning. The only downfall is the fans were not working, soooo it was like a sweat shop in there. Now me, personally, I don't mind a hot workout; however based on others comments around me, they were less than pleased.***Other than that, two thumbs up, I'll be back.
