“Everyone was very nice and helpful. Free breakfast was ample and area roomy, clean and set up nicely. Room was very clean with one exception. Floor could have been mopped much better and probably more often. I always wear socks in stay overs at hotels but happened to spill some water in the room and grabbed a towel to get it up snd the results revealed how dirty the floor was. Other rhan that everything was great. Rule of thumb: No matter where you stay WEAR SOCKS OR HOUSE SHOES when walking around the room. Lol”

“The reason for four stars was the condition of the indoor and outdoor pools. Both needed cleaning. I also wished they had been heated.The room and hotel themselves were very nice. The room was clean. There was a refrigerator and microwave in each room. The bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast was also included. It was your standard hotel free breakfast buffet.”

“Literally a sweet spot! Room was perfect for our family of 4! Clean, comfy and great view. Staff was amazing!!! Pools were clean, warm and alot of fun. Cabana bar was super cute and yummy! Beach was so nice! Volleyball court was my kids favourite and the inside pool at night they loved! It was so close ”

“This is our first time staying here, but we were impressed. Very clean condo with a great view of the ocean. Staff has been friendly and helpful. It's the off season, so it's pretty quiet. I imagine it's pretty different here in June or July!”

“I have been sub contracted for this building a few times now, and the staff is absolutely so kind! The rooms are all so different from one another so no stay is the same. With 2 buildings they have a great view of the ocean and surrounding areas and ample parking for everyone. The staff is on hand at the resort and have great security as well. The pools are kept beautifully and the club house area and work out area is in great condition. They have handicap access and codes for the doors so there's no risk of strangers walking in. With such a beautiful area you're bound to have the best stay in our beautiful town! The owners are just the most kind souls!”

There’s no better place than the El Dorado right here on the ocean it’s just an amazing place and the bar the restaurant awesome and very convenient very clean place, beds were nice and clean sheets and the beds were made tight fit I mean I was trying to look for a problem, but lol couldn’t find one.. “I hate Myrtle Beach, can't stand it, too crowded, tooany people, traffic sucks in and out. I was on a job and got booked at this place. Considering half of the clientele I saw when I arrived, my hopes weren't too high. I was pleasantly surprised, the lobby was fresh, and clean, dated but clean. Staff was just lovely, very jovial and polite, they actually have a sense of humor. I was on the 4th floor, 2 room suite. The elevator is quiet and smooth as hell. The fourth floor was not part of the original motel and was added later as I'm sure the elevator was and the portico over the entrance. There is also an annex on the actual beach. The room was fine. Very sparse, the loveseat in the main living area was fine. The living area needs a sofa and a couple armchairs. The bedroom was huge with a private balcony, once again fine. It needs a desk and perhaps a couple armchairs. Bathroom was nice and clean. The whole room felt early 2000s earth tone chic. That's all, just dated. The rust on certain finishes is 100% normal. It's just part of coastal living. That's all this place needs is a fluff and stuff.....the peeling concrete should be addressed by a professional on the second and third floor promenades Honestly for a coastal motel, it's just fine. The bed was comfy, the room was adequate and lets be realistic, at Myrtle your room is a place to sleep.”

“This resort was perfect for our team vacation! We had a group of 20+ adults and teenagers and this resort gave us everything we could ask for. Large rooms, ocean views, plenty of pool and hot tub access but also a minute walk from the ocean water! I was extremely pleased with this resort. Remember to bring your own beach towels because only room towels are provided.”

The young man at the receptionist desk couldn't believe I was willing to leave this review beforehand. From the GM who worked today to ensure regardless that I gotten here earlier I would receive the first call upon the cleaningness of first dibs on the first room available. With our church receiving its new sanctuary it was apparent to get situated early. As an Executive in Corporate Management with there competition I strongly recommend this location being that it's a local inn. You clearly wouldn't go wrong staying here for your family and friends needs . Driving from my home in Virginia I m over the moon at the top knotch service that I ve received just coming amongst the premises”

“We originally were going to stay at the Southern Breeze but the hotel was terrible and way overpriced . We went up and down Ocean Boulevard trying to find a hotel with an ocean view and a pool since its prime Tourist season we couldn't find nothing so we settle on this hotel. It was cheaper than the Southern Breeze it's not the best hotel by any means the maids do not do a good job and the hotel honestly is a two star hotel but very friendly young women at the front desk and we were able to swim even after the pool closed and they have a hot tub and the pool is eight foot deep and has a kitty pool. We have an amazing view of the ocean. The rooms are a little bit messed up , but it's bug free good pool and view no elevator a lot of stairs no trash can . Has its pros and cons .”

“This was the cutest place. It was kind of like those bed and breakfasts you'd see on the Lifetime channel. We stayed for the weekend and it was not that expensive for the beach either. The room we stayed in was equipped with a fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, and even a stove. Also beautiful wooden floors. The water took quite a while to heat up and that was only a downside for me because I have a 3 month old who gets really impatient anytime he has to wait on his bottle. ? Nice little pool and jacuzzi as well. Will definitely be back.”

“security.The daytime security guard/ Officer a younger man with curly hair, is absolutely on the job. He is observant, professional, polite, and takes his job seriously ( in a good way) we like him.The woman at the front desk. She is polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the area.The room has a fridge and microwave, smart tv, reception, and wifi are horrible and very spotty.The beds weren't high quality and I wish the pillows and mattress would have had protectors covering them... fyiThe room was maintained well enough. could be cleaner. But it's an older building, so some things are expected.The building's HVAC unit is loud outside and the humming is annoying so I couldn't enjoy the patio as I would have liked.The water pressure is amazing.I feel like we overpaid a bit. But, it is July so, expect costs to be higher this time of year. You can find units on Airbnb that I think have kitchenettes. This one as stated didn't.For a budget beach getaway and if you don't mind a building that has been around for years this is a good option. I mean, you're at the beach right?! Just bring your own pillow ”
