I can only comment on the clinic. Very organized. Very fair pricing. I've taken numerous rescue pups and have had very good luck with them. They are short staffed/volunteers. They are doing their best. They just reopened their clinic with online appointments so I tried it out and taking my new pup today for shots. I've never been inside. I'm too afraid I'll leave with more than I can handle. Happy 50th Anniversary!!!

I'm only rating terrible for communication because no one answers the phone! Please have someone answer your phone! You may be able to adopt more dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens! If not save yourself some money and get rid of your phone! Annoying! On another note we love our dog we got there. We had a problem communicating back then too. We drove all the way from Murrells Inlet to see a dog, and had to go back and turn around the next day to be back to see a dog. It took an act of God just to be face to face with someone! We had to grab a dog walker to go get someone. Please do better! Your animals depend on you to get them a nice place to live and be loved. Rant over! Again on a better note thank you for all you do getting the dogs out in public places for folks to see. I'm just peeved because no one will answer their phone! Have a doorbell....something!

Absolutely filthy environment for the animals and the people who work/volunteer. The outdoor kennels have broken/upside down furniture and garbage strewn around. management and leaders of this organization need to understand that just cleaning up and taking pride in your space makes a difference. I've never seen a shelter in such poor condition as this one and would question the health of any animal that comes from there.

Will be eternally grateful to the place that gave me my first chosen pet Sherbert, and my first adult pet Putter. Even overworked, understaffed, and overfilled the volunteers are truly passionate and work tirelessly to ensure these sweet pets get a great home. They make sure you are set up for success, and have a great foster/foster-to-adopt program. It’s hard to believe this sweet baby spent a year in that shelter, but thanks to them he has two loving parents and a sister now. Please remember that if you plan to adopt that you need to plan for it to be permanent. Even if you move, they scratch the furniture, pee, etc. The only acceptable reasons to surrender an animal is if they truly threaten physical safety of you, kids, or other pets or that you are unable to care for them. Do not declaw them (how would you like all your fingertips being cut down to the knuckle? If you have questions, ask the volunteers. They are knowledgeable and eager to help. Thank you again to the staff for helping us find Putter. Truly thankful and he has a great home.

I adopted my girl Daisy (Dolly) a couple months ago and I couldn't have been happier. She's a wonderful sweet girl and loves to play with everyone. Your character description of her was exactly as she is. every person or dog she meets just loves her immediately! Because of your character description I knew she was meant for my family! Thank you Britney for doing a great job!

These people do a difficult job but they work long and hard and seem to have the animals best interest at heart.I've been taking my 7 animals there for years for vaccines and heartworm preventative and I will continue to do so.

Every single person who works at this location are worthless. Do not trust these people. If any of them were on the side of the road injured hurt or worse I would in fact overlook them. Might just pull over and watch them suffer and not offer assistance. You’re all guilty.

The reviews made me expect the worst adopting my dog from here but if anything it was amazing! Brittney helped me adopt my dog in October of 2022 and she was super informative and friendly. The meet with my dog went smoothly and adopting her went fast. We met my dog outside and walked her to see if she was a fit for us. I also use their clinic since it's conveniently already has her records. The clinic is affordable and the Vets are nice! Every time I have been they have been patient and kind to my dog and I! I recommend!

The staff at the Tanger Outlet location are awesome people. When I walked in people and staff where all about. Someone said feel free to look around and just ask if you may have any questions. It had been about 4 months since I had lost my lovable 18 year old cat. I felt the choice of two bonded cats, were a good fit for me. This way they had each other. After having them, close to 6 months now, I couldn't be happier. Here is a big Thank You for all you do. You've changed our lives. It's now filled with love and we have became a beautiful family.

Experience was awful. I would not recommend then. I went a adoption clinic the volunteers couldn't even hardly tell me about the dogs I ask about. Also found that I had wanted to adopt and filled out adoption application and waited around for Jessica to tell me someone was coming back with there dog to see they were compatible. Then she told me she would call me and let me know. That has been 2 weeks. I have called there several times since then they she would call back and never have. If the neglect there animals like have me. I feel sorry them

Was there for a rabies vaccine for my dog. Process is great they come to the car get the dog and then come out with paperwork. Much better than standing in line on a Saturday with 100 dogs for a rabies clinic

I got a kitten from here back in august and he ended up passing away with FIP a deadly disease in cats most likely because he was exposed to coronavirus feline. We’re devastated truthfully since we fell in love with him. I will not be going back here to get a cat from them ever again the way they keep 200 cats in one room with no monitoring or testing for these things and it kills me! 450$ vet trip to have to say goodbye to a baby was hurtful to my family. Never. Ever. Again.

I took my doggie today to get her shots. These people are awesome. The price very reasonable too. It was so many there but the volunteers smiled and kept hustling. . Great job and thank you for doing what you do!
