As soon as you walk in, one of the first things that you are met with is a shelf full of dead baby sharks in glass jars. Each shark had a hole in its chest. They looked crammed and abused. I do not understand how this is at all humanely sourced or even follows the law. If you want a shark-related souvenir, please consider a shark tooth. Sharks lose many teeth in their lifetime, so they can be easily found and sold by souvenir shops as a cool AND humanely sourced keepsake. This was a truly disgusting experience. Gift shops in myrtle beach are a dime a dozen, so spend your money somewhere else.
