“This DG store puts the rest to shame. The store was clean, well stocked, and looked good. I can't say I have been in a Dollar General as nice as this, ever. Also, there is a self checkout, which I have never seen in a DG before.
They need to have the staff here train the rest on how to run/stock a store properly.”

“Went into this location yesterday 1/29/24. They have a new employee there Raven. She was absolutely helpful and kind ,even when I had issues finding my card and having to pay with some change. She smiled the whole time and let me know it was Alright. I already liked this store once the new manager took over but I like it alot more now that there's a new friendly face.”
“Always a clean stocked store when we come on vacation which is a few times a year. But went today there was no one there we guessed. Had 4 cars drive off cause doors were locked at 10:30am all lights were on . Tried to call the store no answer.”

“When I arrived, Haley greeted me and offered help. After returning her greeting, I went directly to the item I wanted. I found everything on my list at the correct price. At checkout, Haley greeted me again and asked if I found everything to which I answered in the affirmative. She quickly and professionally tendered my order, gave me the receipt, and thanked me. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Thanks, Haley, for a job well done!”
“The store manager is nice and the staff is nice too. Although, they need a refresher on how coupons work at dollar general. Also, if you use too many coupons, their system will shut down.”

“Christina is the best Manager hands down she’s very hands on with what ever I or any other customer needs when it comes to customer service she puts us first. She’s always working very hard to make sure the store is cleaned and stocked with all items we need! She is very proficient and productive every time I shop in there! She is the only one I see working very, very hard. I love her hands down has the manager of the store and our community here at Myrtle beach, Sc. She even catches people who steal to and they don’t get away with it either. I have witness it several times! She is the MVP she deserves a raise and a promotion!!!!! 04/21/23 Update - it was about 5:00 p.m. when we dropped by Dollar tree. The prices were still good (and the floor still cluttered ?), but we had a super good experience at checkout by an older gentleman. He was very friendly and helpful.”

“Honestly this location has come a long way in terms of service. They have finally gotten pleasant employees again. They also changed the music and it's very upbeat. I find myself shopping longer sometimes just because I like a song. They are keeping it stocked and better organized. This location is convenient for me so I am so thankful for the positive changes.”
“Patty is an awesome assistant manager. If you knew what ALL the managers and employees have to do, you would understand why she did what she did. She doesn't pick and choose who she waits on. She takes the next two customers in line at a time. Like I said, there's a rhyme and reason. I know at Walmart, you'll most likely stand in line and not scream at the cashier. 7-18-2024. Peter greeted me upon entry today. He smiled and offered help. I asked him where an item was located and he directed me right to it. The store had everything I needed in stock. Peter made sure I received my $10 off $40 discount. He took wonderful care of me taking time to help me out today. I recommend Peter and his store to family and friends. This is my new go-to store as I had an issue with another store manager today of which I will not mention the location. It was not 2000 N Kings Hwy. I did not purchase at that store today because they were out of stock of my ice cream.
7-20-2024. Susan greeted me when I came into the store this morning. She smiled and looked at me as she made that greeting and offered assistance. I saw Manny stocking shelves and asked him where I could find a brush that was on my list. He gladly took me to the item. I was happy to find everything on my list in stock today. The prices were correct, and the store honored my $5 off $25 Saturday discount. Susan checked me out at the register efficiently and with care. She had a friendly and professional manner. Thanks, Susan and Manny, for a great shopping experience today! I recommend this Dollar General location and these two employees to family and friends.”
“Family Dollar is as typical as any Dollar store gets. My biggest problem with any of these dollar stores is that inventory is usually laying all over the place. From my experience from friends who worked at various dollar stores they only hire enough people to cover the register and maybe one other person helping putting items away. They're just as not enough time in the day to keep the store clean and tidy and accident free. As for finding everything that I go in there for which is what they ask you when you get to the register usually yes. And as you go from store to store inventory does vary so if you find it at one doesn't mean you're going to find it at another.”

Laura's assistance was invaluable as she helped me find several items that I could not find. She even offered a substitution for Swanson's Chicken Broth.
