Hi! I’m here to rave about Hayden Pearson, the Marketing Assistant Manager at this store. Hayden previously worked at a store closer to where I am located in NC. I was sad to see him go however, even from hours away his insight and guidance have continued to be invaluable! In the past I feel I have encountered some pretty questionable (dishonest) ”car guys.” Hayden is the complete opposite. He prioritizes his customers needs and consistently provides honest insight/recommendations. Needless to say, he’s helped restore my faith in the “car guys.” I actually ended up with a tire issue today and again, even from hours away, he was able to point me in the right direction. I strongly encourage anyone in need of ANYTHING tire related to go to this store solely because he works there. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!! :)

I won't be back, my online order was messed up and then they broke a wheel stud while installing the new tires. Their best advice was I needed to find a shop that could fix what they broke.

Amazing customer service from start to finish. Had to get a tire put on and was in and out in no time. Super professional and friendly staff. My spare tire was put back properly and all my tires where aired up to the right PSI. Highly recommend!!!

We came down to the beach and had a tire go bad on our truck. Thankful for having their tire certificate. Got us in and out with a cost of only $55 for a new Michelin and the labor.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible service I received during my recent visit. After a frustrating day trying to find someone to fix a tire on my car with special locked wheels—traveling from North Myrtle Beach down to South—I was relieved to finally find your shop.
Not only did you provide fast and efficient service, but I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that I wasn’t charged for the repair. Given the challenging day I had, this gesture meant a lot to me.
You’ve definitely earned my trust, and I will be making Discount Tire my go-to for any future auto needs. Thank you for the amazing job you do!

Stopped by because I thought my tire was losing air and was headed out on a 4 hour road trip. They found a nail in my tire and had us on the road in no time. Super friendly service.

On August 20 I went to Discount Tire to have them fix a slow leak on my 2022 Toyota Highlander caused by a nail. My car came with wheel locks so I gave the sales guy the key to remove the wheel lock. When I picked up the car they gave me a receipt with no charge and said the repair was free. However, and this is my reason for the low rating, they did not give me back my wheel lock key and I didn't realize it until the next day. The next day when I realized it, I went back to ask for my key back. After looking, they said they couldn't find it anywhere and that perhaps their tech who did the work put it in my console or glovebox. He did not. I checked. So they said they would "order one and call me when it comes in." Which at the time was very helpful sounding, but I realize now was just a put off because when I called Sparks Toyota this week I was told that it's not even possible to order a replacement. I guess that explains why DT hasn't called me and I don't expect they will. Because I'm concerned driving around taking a chance on having a flat and having to tell AAA I have no key to remove the wheel lock, I called Sparks asking if I could just come out and buy a new key myself instead of waiting on DT. To my surprise, they said no, it's not that simple. There is one company that makes the keys and they are unique with thousands of possible configurations and Discount Tire or anyone else cannot just buy a new replacement key. Which makes sense for security reasons. So now the solution for me is to take my car to Sparks and have them remove all four of the wheel locks with their master tool and replace them with my original lugs. For a service fee of course. I made an appointment for next week. So, although I'm grateful for Discount Tire giving me a free leak repair, I feel they were not nearly as concerned as they should have been to hold their technician accountable for something this important. Surely their people should understand how important these keys are to the customer and should be safeguarded. And surely I'm not the first customer coming in with wheel locks. How hard would it have been to go back to the tech who did my repair and make him do a thorough search for the key. Instead they said oh we'll order a replacement one and call you. So let this be a warning to anyone with wheel locks getting work done at this tire store. Yeah, like others, I would give high praise to them for the store being clean, and the salesperson, Jason, was very friendly and of course I appreciate the fact that I was not charged for the repair. But I would have gladly have paid for my repair and received back my lock key because now here I am three weeks down the road still not finished dealing with this issue.--Rod N

Brent helped me over the phone Ryan helped me in the store I was there for about an hour for 3 tires. Will most definitely be back for 2 more and will tell all my friends to go there.

I went to get air put in my tires at the Surfside Beach location and another customer was being rude and tried to cut in front of me. I didn’t know he had been waiting. Ryan deescalated the situation and asked Sophie to assist me while he took care of the other customer. I was really impressed by the high level of customer service they presented. Good work guys!
