“They do have several home decor items that can make your home look posh without spending a lot of money, especially in the furniture department. So if you got rental property or a college kid or first bedroom for somebody this is the perfect place. They got blinds everything for a bed, even a bed and you can't beat the prices on the couches and living room furniture. Stay away from the clothing. I don't know what they're making that stuff off but it feels like plastic.!”
“Nice convenient neighborhood store. But I will not shop there again because of one thing. Self checkout. It takes away jobs. I hate self checkout. And for this one reason I will not return. Take care of labor and it will take care of your store . I like a person not a machine. And I will tell others to avoid this store because of self checkout. “This store has a lot of products to choose. Sweatshirts, shirts, swimwear, beach stuff to whatever you can find. They also provide a nice bag if you spend $75+. Prices are very reasonable. Bought a pair of shorts that cost $50 at retail price and paid $20”
“When I arrived, Haley greeted me and offered help. After returning her greeting, I went directly to the item I wanted. I found everything on my list at the correct price. At checkout, Haley greeted me again and asked if I found everything to which I answered in the affirmative. She quickly and professionally tendered my order, gave me the receipt, and thanked me. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Thanks, Haley, for a job well done!”
“Lots of stuff in close quarters like seasonal items, food, toiletries, office supplies, and household cleaning stuff. It's a store where the prices are generally lower, but it's often the convenience that causes one to drop into Dollar General.”
“Always a clean stocked store when we come on vacation which is a few times a year. But went today there was no one there we guessed. Had 4 cars drive off cause doors were locked at 10:30am all lights were on . Tried to call the store no answer.”

“We just moved to Socastee and happened upon Savemore. I was blown away by the prices and selection. There was food, furniture, decor, health and beauty all at deep discounts. My trolley was overflowing and I barely cracked $90! The lady who checked us out was friendly and quick. I was with my eldest son, but I’m looking forward to taking my husband back. He’s going to be a kid in a candy store!”

“We have loved having this here! Great place for the kids to spend their money and actually get decent things! Shelves are always full and it's really big! They carry everything from holiday stuffers, toys, arts and crafts, pets, electronics, and make-up and snacks. Just like Dollar Tree there, some items you could probably find on the 99 cent shelf at Walmart but the other items absolutely make up for it. Staff is always really nice and happy to help if needed. They also have self check out which is both nice and slightly annoying when it messes up, but over all this is a great location!”

04/21/23 Update - it was about 5:00 p.m. when we dropped by Dollar tree. The prices were still good (and the floor still cluttered ?), but we had a super good experience at checkout by an older gentleman. He was very friendly and helpful.”
“Christina is the best Manager hands down she’s very hands on with what ever I or any other customer needs when it comes to customer service she puts us first. She’s always working very hard to make sure the store is cleaned and stocked with all items we need! She is very proficient and productive every time I shop in there! She is the only one I see working very, very hard. I love her hands down has the manager of the store and our community here at Myrtle beach, Sc. She even catches people who steal to and they don’t get away with it either. I have witness it several times! She is the MVP she deserves a raise and a promotion!!!!! I will reach out to corporate as well! I see her over seeing other dollar generals in the district area. Making sure it’s just like her home store! For again as I said before she is the MVP of excellence ?”

“Honestly this location has come a long way in terms of service. They have finally gotten pleasant employees again. They also changed the music and it's very upbeat. I find myself shopping longer sometimes just because I like a song. They are keeping it stocked and better organized. This location is convenient for me so I am so thankful for the positive changes.”
“We stopped here and got the 6ft beach umbrellas they were on sell for 4.98. Regular 11.99 it was a great deal we went back and got another one before we left to come home. So we would have them on hand to use at home also. We got the plastic thing to put in the ground to hold them also only 6.99. They work great cant beat that price at all. This place is great. My son also got some goggles for the pool he loved them.”

I like the neighborhood Walmarts sometimes better than the super stores. Quick and easy. I think they need to monitor the parking lot a little bit better, obvious drug deal right in front of the store.”

7-18-2024. Peter greeted me upon entry today. He smiled and offered help. I asked him where an item was located and he directed me right to it. The store had everything I needed in stock. Peter made sure I received my $10 off $40 discount. He took wonderful care of me taking time to help me out today. I recommend Peter and his store to family and friends. This is my new go-to store as I had an issue with another store manager today of which I will not mention the location. It was not 2000 N Kings Hwy. I did not purchase at that store today because they were out of stock of my ice cream.
7-20-2024. Susan greeted me when I came into the store this morning. She smiled and looked at me as she made that greeting and offered assistance. I saw Manny stocking shelves and asked him where I could find a brush that was on my list. He gladly took me to the item. I was happy to find everything on my list in stock today. The prices were correct, and the store honored my $5 off $25 Saturday discount. Susan checked me out at the register efficiently and with care. She had a friendly and professional manner. Thanks, Susan and Manny, for a great shopping experience today! I recommend this Dollar General location and these two employees to family and friends.”
