It was mediocre. Not the best, but definitely not sea-mist bad.

Fun shop, lots to look at. Lots of merchandise, but still plenty of room to walk around or get a wheelchair through. The kids enjoyed looking at all the souvenirs. Though there is some niche products, they don't make their whole store about it... Like some.

Very nice store with lots of unique gifts to purchase instead of the same stuff you find in every other souvenir shop.

***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** After my visit at the Paula Deen Store and Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, I made my way to the next building. I wanted to buy more magnets and get some more shirts. I wasn't planning to go inside Crabby Jack's General Store at first, but the name "Crabby Jack's" intrigued me so I turned back and walked right in. I am so glad that I did. Huge shop with great selections of clothing, interesting local gifts for friends and family back home, cold beverages, candy, snacks, and so much more. Staff was super friendly and nice. They helped me with getting shirts that were hanging way high... thank you! They didn't have a fitting room so I just threw the shirt over the shirt I was wearing at the time. It was all good. I ended up getting a few good-looking shirts with Myrtle Beach printed on them (good quality material by the way) and some fun magnets as my souvenir. Crabby Jack's is just an all around fun one-of-a-kind emporium of all sorts of things. A must visit when you're in Myrtle Beach! P.S. I will post photos later. Thanks for your patience.

The woman that works there is so rude it's ridiculous. I always buy something from there when I'm in town. Never again!!

If I could give less than 1 star for a rating here I would! When we arrived at Broadway in the Beach the power was out, but we didn’t realize it. So when we went to open the locked door to this store, a very hateful woman opened it & barked at us that the power was off and they weren’t opened. So like everyone else, we returned to our cars to wait a bit in hopes of the power coming back on. When it didn’t after a while, most of the stores decided to let people come in anyway & pay with cash only. So we tried again, against our better judgement after she was so hateful earlier. This time the door was unlocked so we went in, along with another couple. That same woman came out & asked us how we you’ll in! We told her through the door, for lack of a better answer. She again hatefully showed us all our & said they couldn’t open b/c the power was out. Then proceeded to tell us that it should be quite obvious! Talk about your poor customer service! Not that someone with her pathetic people skills even cares, but I will never spend a dime in that store as long as I live, and maybe someone who has a stake in this establishment might like to know how much money she lost for you b/c she chose to stay closed up while every other business at least welcomed people to spend their cash. And lady, if you are reading this review, you should be ashamed of yourself. It’s people like you that give retailers a bad wrap at times!

This is another interesting shop, which makes strolling around Broadway at the Beach so much fun. The store has a variety of touristy/kitschy/humorous items, so appropriate for a visit to Myrtle Beach.

Nice selection, but the morning cashier of the 12th of this month was soo unenthused with being there and yanked my payment out of my hand. Dont appreciate my purchase being shoved across the table, especially when I spent over $30. Place is pricey, so youd think they'd treat your items with a little more respect when you've made a purchase. Wont be coming back during our next trips.
