It's been years ago, but they were fair to me, diagnosed a problem and were 100 % with me. Later they worked on my mother in laws vehicle and were reasonable and good. No complaints. Highly recommend

Do not go to this shop. I brought my 2016 GMC Canyon here in July of 2023 to have the AC compressor replaced.-They did not tighten the Air intake leading to a dead truck on the highway-They bent an AC line out of the way leading to a pinhole leak- They over torqued two of the bolts and did not tighten one leading to the compressor coming off- Napa warranty did not cover any of it and being distant from home, bringing it back was not an optionI am a mechanical engineer and do almost all my own auto work. This time, i was on vacation and took my truck here so i could enjoy my trip and not have to worry about it. I also had a baby and a toddler with me and the wife made it clear going without AC was not an option. Originally, the price seemed high but fine and they seemed knowledgeable enough. As we were driving home the day after we picked it up, the intake hose blew off in the mountains of Virginia. This being a turbo diesel truck, this meant that it did not have enough power to move and i had to work on the side of the highway looking for a way to hold the intake onto the throttle body (i limped it with a bunch of zip-ties until i could buy a hose clam). I was frustrated but an honest mistake that a slightly careless mechanic could make.A week later and back at home in Michigan, our AC stopped working again. I looked at it and the AC line that connects to the AC compressor was bent so badly that it was leaking out of the crease in the line. Basically the mechanic who installed it was too careless to undo a bracket holding the line and just bent it out of the way to install the compressor, this led to a leak of all the refrigerant. Thinking that this was covered under the NAPA warranty, i brought it to a local shop who NAPA recommended and said would cover it. The MI shop replaced the line but napa warranty refused to cover any of the cost except the refrigerant. They said they could only cover the parts they replaced and were not responsible for the labor even though it was the labor that caused it. I ended up bein hit with a $600 bill for something i could have replaced myself for $120 and about 2 hours of work.Lastly, in October of 2023, my wife was stranded at work after the truck shredded a serpentine belt. When i went to replace it, i found that the AC compressor (which was not removed since C&G touched it) was loose. When the belt broke, it shredded and got stuck in the radiator fan destroying the radiator clutch with it. Upon further inspection, one of the three bolts was missing and the other two were broken off inside the aluminum bracket where they attach. This means that the mechanic must have over tightened the two bolts and possibly not tightened the third. Getting the bracket out to drill out the holes required undoing everything they did as well as removing several other components that are attached to it.By trying to save myself the burden of spending about 4 hours and $450 replacing the compressor myself on vacation or dealing with no AC for the drive home, i have ended up costing myself about $2800 and about 11 hours of work. C&G did about as bad of a job on this repair as possible for something that should be routine and simple.

I had them to check the ball joints on my truck. The older guy said they were fine even though one side is pop and the tire is chopped up on the inside. He didn't want to do the work is what I think.

Honesty, integrity, skilled and trained technicians at a reasonable price. I'm not sure how else to explain them but they are not a dealership charging triple of what the job would cost and they are not a shade tree mechanic business trying to sell you services and parts you do not need. They are also super fast. If I need vehicle repairs again when I'm in this area, I will be using C & G. Thanks for taking such good care of SuzyQServices: Transmission

While traveling from Maryland to Myrtle Beach, my engine blew a spark plug. I had my truck towed C & G on Saturday morning, but since they are closed early on Saturday and all day Sunday, they said Monday was the earliest that they could look at it....even though they were full for Monday. Well Monday morning came and I get a call from C & G at 8:40am saying that my truck was ready ?....ready for what??? You all just opened!!! Somehow, they got the parts, did the work, test drove and called me before most shops would have finished their morning coffee.....and for such a low price I couldn't believe it! I just wish they were closer to Maryland....they would have all my business....and everyone else I know! Thank you all for outstanding service ??!Service: Engine repair

This was my first time here and the staff was extremely nice and professional. I was a walk-in customer but they took my truck right in and diagnosed my air condition problem in no time and were able to order parts and repair the problem the same day(leak in condenser). I was also made sure I was attended to as I waited and offered coffee an water. I thought the repairs would have taken longer but they had me in and out with not as much wait time as I would have thought for the repairs that had to be done. Hands down great staff, pricing and repair work. I will definitely return for any other auto repairs and Highly Recommended!!!!!Service: Air conditioning

Scott & team did not disappoint! Absolutely wonderful experience with one of our trucks. We will be using C&G for all of our fleet maintenance and repairs for all of our vehicles. When the Chevrolet dealer takes weeks to get you in and ties up a vehicle for an entire day or more it’s great to have an expert shop that takes us in on the fly and gets us back out with urgency. These guys understand that service oriented businesses needs to keep their vehicles on the move and well maintained. Check these guys out for your fleet care needs.
