Process was simple . The only thing I didn't like was this location didn't ask you if you had a car preference based on what was available. I'm just used to being able to pick from what is available from the class of car I rent.

Whole rental experience was great until I got my e-receipt. I was slammed for gas charges on two different rentals. One showed 14.3 gallons out and 13.2 gallons in. The time of the email receipt was exactly the time I dropped the car off. How did they measure the gas in such a short time? I filled it up before dropping off until it clicked, and then one more click for good measure. It was 3 miles to the rental return from the gas station, so no way I could have burned over a gallon.The other car I noticed was at one tick below full as I was driving out. Yea, I forgot to check it in the lot. We drove 41 miles. I went to the gas station and stopped at 2.5 gallons which would more than cover the 41 miles we had driven. Once again, I was slammed with a fuel charge. I was able to contest both successfully with no resistance, so it seems like they are trying to slam people hoping they won't notice and if they DO notice, they will take the charge off.On the plus side, FastPass is awesome. There was a queue of about 15-20 people in the "normal" line and no one in the FastPass lane. I was in and out within 5 minutes.

This was the worst experience. They denied me a rental car. I was told that I was on the do not rent to list. This was after they allowed me to get a confirmation and was out of state. After my flight I went to get my rental car and was told I had to email their team who wouldn’t respond for 7 days. This was horrible due to the fact I was only there for 5 days. Not happy with this location.

I pre-paid for a rental online, when I arrived to pick up the rental car I was advised that my debit card would not be taken, and I would be issued a full refund. I have yet to receive the refund. I expect the refund in full otherwise I will be filing a case with small claims court. Settlement Demand: $461.07

I'm not sure why this place has such low reviews. We made our reservation and checked in as soon as we got our luggage. The lady that helped us was so nice and helpful. She got us checked in efficiently and got everything processed with no issues. When we went outside to get our car it was clean with no issues. It was in the parking spot we were directed to. When we returned the car, we were immediately checked in at the parking lot and provided a receipt. No issues what so ever! Great job budget!

Budget always has predictably bad service, but the price is right. This branch really takes the awful experience to a new level. "Mora", if that's her real name, is the most miserable person I've ever dealt with in any retail capacity, anywhere, ever. My flight landed an hour early so I hopped a cab (there's no airport shuttle lol) to this desolate shopping mall location. Not a soul in the store, but "Mora" made me sit and wait for 15 minutes as if there was a huge line or something, as she finished her morning coffee and listened to the radio. Then berated me because I got there an hour before my rental. Then insisted she had to charge me an extra day for the extra hour. Then insisted she couldn't actually change anything at all because it was booked through Priceline. Basically told me I couldn't get the van at all lol. Then told me it had to be back by noon on sunday because that location closed early 1pm, despite our rental being until 5pm. Then told me it could not be dropped off at the airport location at 5pm because "Then I have to pay someone to go pick it up". BTW, this was a group trip of 8 guys and I repeatedly said we didn't care about the extra charges, just wanted to get on the road. She basically threatened to report thr van stolen if I returned to the airport location. Low and behold, thr airport took the van back with no problem and no extra charges, and no police. Unreal. Do not rent from this place if you can avoid it. Oh and it was supposed to be a 12 passenger sprinter van. Actual photo attached.

Renting a car at the airport was insanely expensive. We took a 10 minute Uber ride to this location and rented our car from there. The entire process was SO easy and seamless. The man working the desk was extremely helpful. I will for sure be renting our car from this location the next time we're in Myrtle Beach.

I booked a car through Priceline with budget for my vacation the first week of August. Budget did not honor the confirmation. They acknowledged it they had it on file but cards were being released on the first come first serve basis Because they overbooked. When I arrived at the car rental building I was shocked by the long lines! Literally The line for budget car rental extended out of the building! At first I went directly to the counter since I had a reservation, I did not realize that most people in line had one too. The Budget staff member let me know that the cars would be release first come first serve and that my confirmation number did not guarantee me a car. I was surprised! He explained that they had more people wanting cars and they had cars available so it would be first come first serve. I again said, "but I have a confirmation And I need to be someplace within an hour. " The budget rep literally said to me, "when you make a reservation at a restaurant do you expect your food when you get there? "I said, "no but I expect my table. "He said, "there's your table! "As he aggressively pointed to the back of the line. There was no other option but to wait. I called Priceline trying to get them to make other arrangements. I called family members letting them know I would not arrive on time etc. etc. And mostly I talked with other frustrated customers whose first day of vacation had been ruined by budget. We were all very concerned that we could not be guaranteed a car. After a very very very long few hours I was back at the front counter! The same budget employee was "helping" me. He told me I should be grateful for him! He had to fly in from Miami to help out in Myrtle Beach because they had overbooked. I do realize it's not his fault it's budget's fault. I'm sure the budget employee was very frustrated, after all it was an extremely hot day and there's a crowd of frustrated people who have been waiting for hours! But at the same time he is their employee and this man was so demeaning and so rude! I'm tempted to post The video I took of him. I eventually got keys to my car and he pointed me to the parking lot. I understand they were turning around cars quickly because there was such a huge line of people waiting! But literally no one was available to show me how to work the instruments of my car I was totally unfamiliar with this type of car. I Had to wave down just a random stranger to ask him if he could help me figure out some of the instruments on the car. I followed up with Budget about my experience. They agreed to refund a portion $250 of the cost of my rental. I was satisfied with the partial refund that was supposed to come in 3 to 5 days. I have followed up with Budget multiple times and I'm just going in a black hole I'm always told it'll come in 3 to 5 days. I'm done following up with budget - obviously there is no refund coming. I'm not going to recoup thelost of my first vacation day. But I absolutely will never use budget again. I would advise you to think twice before you trust them with your vacation plans or business trip or anything else that might be important to you. Budget does not care about their customers.

We were charged for insurance coverage when we specifically told your employee at the counter that we did not need insurance on the rental because we checked with our insurance agent to confirm that our full coverage policy would cover rental cars. We will never use Budget again..

Rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't rent me a card because I was using a debit card. I'm out in South Carolina on business and this is how you treat people. Better off renting from the other rentals at the airport, employees there are much nicer and helpful.

Picked up my rent a car on July 31st, Was a white Toyota Carolla, It was dirty smelled like cat pee They never Washed the inside or the outside.
