As the name of the shop says, it's a "Beef Jerky Experience" for certain. Being a lifelong carnivore posing as an omnivore at times, I've been enjoying beef jerky products since I was a wee tyke back in the Hickory Farms days of ye ole beef jerky shop in the old Eastland Mall heydays back in Charlotte NC. Heck, I've even tried my hand at making it a few times, to varying degrees of success and failure. However, this place is incredible. Definitely worth the stop in and see for yourself kind of place.
Even the shop is arranged in such a way to make it easy to find what you're looking for from textures (dried leather for longer chews, though still tasty, all the way to moist & tender for you gentle jerky loving souls whose teeth or palate are on the softer spectrum). They have the normal, run of the mill "Beef" jerky products in various flavors and chews (of course), but they also have more exotic carnivore delights such as camel jerky, elk jerky, venison jerky, alligator jerky, and even python jerky (though I'm certain to have missed a few).
There are other products as well from deep fried peanuts in the shell to freeze dried garlic of varying flavors (we bought some of those too along with several other products that we were able to sample ahead of buying).
And, do not get me started on the T-shirts that are available (see the pics below.....). These are certain to entertain your vegan friends. My wife bought me one to put away for Christmas that screams, "Old Guy Me!" for certain. Definitely snarky gift options for that vegan or vegetarian in your life for a mutual laugh.
All in all, a great "Beef Jerky Experience," as the namesake applies. Highly recommended. I'll be surprised if you walk away without investing in some tummy treats after trying a few samples yourself.

We had Mark Robbins help us and he was phenomenal. Picked out 4 flavors right of the bat that worked perfect! Little pricey but worth the money!

A huge selection to choose from, Very spacious to move around and you can sample the products before you buy. Vonda is very knowledgeable on the different flavors of jerky.

Prices seemed pretty high. Walked in and saw $38 on a medium sized(it wasn't an exotic jerky either) bag of jerky and turned around and left. I get this is supposed to be premium jerky but I can go to Bass pro and get three bigger sized bags for the same price. You hear "outlet" and expect many brands at low prices but the reality is most of the bags were all their brand and if there was "outlet" pricing, I didn't see it. I wouldn't leave a review because obviously it works for them and the place was clean with quite a few choices.. but the salesman very pushy and rude.

We got our dog several chews. He loved them, especially bison.The Carolina Reaper Jerky has serious heat. I've eaten raw habanero, and wasn't close to that but still make you sweat hot.

This location of the Beef Jerky Experience chain is located in the "Broadway on the Beach" complex in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Strangely, the tiled ground outside is VERY slippery when wet! There were several people sliding in the light rain while we visited -- but the amount of unintentional gliding seemed to be determined by the walkers' shoes. It was strange.The interior of this store is very clean and tidy. There are many brands and types of jerky being sold -- lots of beef flavors, as well as other types of animals. There was even at least one type of vegetarian jerky!The people working at the store were extremely helpful. A large variety of free samples to taste were available, too.The prices seemed reasonable, and the company also has a loyalty/rewards club.

Sooooo, we love beef jerky! Tried a few different ones here and all delicious but let me tell you something about that Armageddon jerky? ? It says 4.5m Scoville units but felt like a billion?? My 2 boys(12 & 14) and I each tried a piece once we got back to the resort and I believe it was the hottest thing I have put in my mouth in 40 years?? I know they were going through it for 10 mins? Also they have testers before you buy which is awesome!

If I could give zero stars I would. One rude older lady (5/28/23 at 5:30 pm) was really rude to my whole group, saying we couldn’t read and all around bad attitude. She had zero people skills. No prices on any of their stuff, very misleading when you get up to the counter to pay.P.S where do y’all get your meat from? Prices are B.S!!!
