Normally, we use an independent small business close to our home for our auto repair needs. He’s part of our “village” of trusted helpers. But, when my grandson’s car broke down, it had a mind of its own. It stopped working at the opposite end of the Grand Strand within a block of Archer’s.My grandson was able to coax the car into Archer’s lot. Rather than have the expense of towing the car across town, we “took a chance” and asked them to look at it.Keith communicated clearly with us on the suspected problem, recommended solution and cost. They worked the vehicle in, ordered parts and repaired it, and had it ready to go in less than 48 hours.Everyone we encountered in their shop was kind, polite and helpful. We’re so thankful Archer’s was where we needed them and got us taken care of. Our “village” just grew. We’d definitely trust them to work on our vehicles in the future. Thanks, gentlemen!

All the guys who helped were great and even checked stuff out for me on top of what my appointment was for. Very polite, and there was a big waiting room for anyone wanting/needing to stay until their vehicle is done.

Polite, friendly, fair prices. They've worked on my car multiple times now, I trust them. They found what was draining my battery, and recently they replaced the motor that controls my electric seat adjuster when it quit on me. Also they got to look at my car very fast after I dropped it off, didn't waste my time.

I will not go anywhere else to have my car serviced because I trust these guys explicitly. They are honest and actually save me money. They’re very professional and knowledgeable.Services: Tires

Arrived at 9 am for my scheduled appointment and dropped off my car to have the air conditioning coolant refilled. Told 1 1/2 hour job. 6 hours later no call from them. I call them and was told because I didn't stay there and wait for the car to be done, my car was put to the back of the list. Didn't get my car until 8 hours later and was never told this "policy" of theirs when I dropped off the car. Who the hell does that?? Terrible customer service. They only got 1 star because you have to so you can post.

I just purchased a car and took it there as they are listed as one of the approved service center. Not friendly at all. My car had a vibration, and they first found a bent rim, had it sent out for repair. Got the car back, it was little better but not gone. Took it back, then they tell me it needs tires as they are cheap tires. So I take the car back home. This shop does not give me the impression they want to help customers. No one was friendly at all and give out the impression that they did not care. They did not offer any solution to the problem. So, I'll take my business someplace else for new tires. Due to their attitude they lost me as a new customer and the $1300 sale for tires.

I have taken my car on three separate occasions to Archer's: one for a tire patch, an oil change and light replacement, and today for a new set of tires. Not only is the staff friendly and helpful, but their prices are VERY reasonable and their waiting area is comfortable and clean. I will definitely be using Archer's for future repairs and automotive needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Carolina Forest area (or anywhere on the Grand Strand) who is looking for a jack-of-all-trades automotive place.

Had a flat tire that needed fixing. I was riding on my " doughnut" spare tire. As you may know, you are limited on the amount of driving you can do on theses mini tires. Their only designed to get you to a repair shop.I found this shop on a friend's recommendation. While it was late in the day, they promised to fit me in. I did have to wait before they started to look at my tire,, but not an unreasonable amount of time. In due course, my tire was patched, remounted and installed on my car.My tire changing tools were returned to the tool tray and the spare tire and tool tray were returned to their storage spot in my carAs to cost, I thought they were very reasonable ... $25.While this was not a "big" job, I felt that I had been treated fairly and honestly. I was pleasantly surprised when my tire tools had been p.ut away without me asking. They didn't attempt to sell me a new tireThey didn't over-charge me. This is a great start. I will certainly try them again when the need arises.

Very quick to fix my car that I towed to them the night before which was a Friday night. I needed a new alternator and they finished the job the very next day which was Saturday and they close early on Saturdays by 2pm. I'm very happy with Archer's, they care about their customers. They are our go to place for any problems with our vehicles. I highly recommend them.

Made appointment after they messed up my balance. They did not even take my car back for 40 minutes. Disregarded my appointment time and made my pregnant wife wait in the heat. Terrible service and even worse attitudes. They don’t know what they are doing and they are incredibly rude. I don’t know how anyone still uses them as their mechanic.Service: Tires

I have a 2008 Chevy uplander that had an oil and water leak. It went in for repair in November. I just had cancer surgery and was unable to do any of the work. It went in 3 times and still leaks oil. Paid over $3000. to have it repaired. The service department rep said it was repaired and if it starts to leak againits because it is old. It has only 80000 miles on it. I got it home and still leaks. The oil pan gasket is where the leak is coming from. They took advantage of a senior citizen when the could not do the work because of illness. They replaced parts that did not need replacing. After picking it up second time, they did not plug in the starter wires and it died on the way home. No recourse they got the money. Don't use them for repairs.

Got oil changes on two vehicles and other work done. They've been extra busy these last few years, but call and get an appointment first. Great people and service.

Honest Place, had a check engine light on, Ryan explained to me it was the gas filler pipe under the gas cap that was worn and pitted l have a 2010 Toyota Camry with 175,000 miles on it, they cleaned it and coated the pipe that so the gas cap fit tight and the gas fumes were not escaping the filler pipe which set off the light, the gas cap was new so it wasn't the cap itself, The people in the shop are polite, honest, and professional and they saved me what could have been expensive tests and procedures,l am new to the area and have found my new Mechanics, l will definitely be back and would recommend Archer to anyone looking for Automotive Care they also have a comfortable and large waiting area

Not friendly AT ALL on the phone, would not recommend taking a child's bicycle to a place that seemed so unprofessional on the phone to a possible customer.....Even their response to my opinion of the way I was talked to and treated on the phone by one of their employees was childish and asinine....... That the response was more worried about ATTACKING my opinion rather than how possible customers are treated in the initial contact says a LOT about how LITTLE how much a business cares about the very people they are supposed to help....I worked in the auto repair business over 40 years and was an A S.E. certified master tech, and NONE of the companies that I worked for would have tolerated a customer being treated like I was on the phone.....
