I love this store!! The whole team is positive & will help you with whatever you need. My pickup order wasn’t ready yet when I came into the store they went out of their way and finished it for me!!

The staff at this location is awful.First, if you do a pickup order at this location expect to wait a ridiculous amount of time for your order to be ready. Never same day, even with a single item. This has been the case every time I’ve ordered.Besides that, I walked in the store to get a pick up order recently and was the ONLY customer there. 5 or 6 employees were standing around the checkout counter talking, which whatever, no one else was in the store. Not a single one of them said hello. I stopped to look at a shirt on my way to register, meanwhile all but 2 of the girls disappeared into the back of store. When I walked up to the counter I was completely ignored, one of the two remaining girls walked into the back and out of sight too. I stood there just waiting for the one remaining girl to acknowledge my existence. She messed around with something on the counter then finally asked if I was ready to check out. I told her I had a pickup order, she walked away to retrieve someone else from the back to help me with it, who then acted like it was the biggest inconvenience. What is wrong with the employees?! Apparently no one’s training them, and they’re just rude. They stand around talking and hide when customers actually come in the store.

I came into the Coastal Grand location on May 12th 2023 at around 3:30 pm. One of the ladies standing in the front room immediately greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed help with anything and gave me her name which was regan. I said no to help originally but ended up needing help finding a swimsuit on the aerie side, and even though she wasn’t working on that side she helped me find the perfect bathing suit for my daughter. She made the shopping experience extremely easy and was a breath of fresh air - next time you are at coastal grand ask for Regan you won’t be disappointed!

I was happy about the discounts on the clearance items and Most important surprised how helpful thier Associate was to us he went out the way to please us.

I went to return a pair of leggings and wanted the girl at the register to order me a pair of shorts. The girl ordered me another pair of leggings instead of the shorts like I asked and when I received the wrong item in my package, I went and looked for the shorts I wanted online and they were sold out. So if the employees would actually listen, maybe I would have the shorts that I wanted. Will definitely go to the tanger in myrtle beach instead of here.

Staff were ALL standing together chatting, no greeting. You honestly felt like an animal in a cage bc they were looking at me giggling while I was looking for a sweater from the window, didn’t find it. Got a skirt that has a sign that said 30% off on it. Went to pay, asked about the sign, got completely ignored and was told I had to take it at the price it was. Keep in mind this was only after I stood at the register being ignored while she chatted to another associate. I’m a competitor store manager and that was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a store.I won’t be back to this location.

Two girls working at the front entrance didnt acknowledge me and the person behind me when we entered the store. I walked around them at least 3 times to see if anyone would offer to help me being that I did need help finding christmas items( joggers & hoodies). Not one time did either of them say one word to me but continued to have their conversations amongst one another, which is ok but customers are important for the employees and brand. So I walked out and went to other stores to spend my money where I was greeted and ask if I needed help. I never have this problem at the American Eagle Outlets stores im always happy spending money at that location they have top notch customer service.

Reygan helped us today. We are older parents and our son is 15. He doesn’t appreciate what we say even if it was what someone his age says. She told him what was in style and what would look good. It became a very enjoyable experience. Thank you so much for her.

i had the absolute best shopping experience with reygan a few days ago! she was so knowledgeable about everything in the store, i’m not super familiar with clothes from american eagle/aerie so having her around was definitely a plus! she was also so patient with me, again i’m not really familiar with ae so i definitely took a little bit on the longer side in the fitting rooms, but she always checked up on me, would grab me different sizes if i needed it, and gave me items that she thought would look good on me which was the sweetest thing ever. i have the best summer wardrobe all thanks to her. if you’re going to the ae/aerie at coastal grand mall keep an eye out for reygan because she is absolutely amazing!!

I came to visit this location on vacation with my boyfriend and had the weirdest experience. I was in the dressing room trying on some things and one of the employees comes and hits the button on the outside of my dressing room (the help button). Then a minute later the same lady comes back and asks me if i need help (knowing that she was the one that hit the button) I said “no thank you Im okay”. Another minute later she comes back and asks me again. My boyfriend saw it all happen while he was sitting he chair outside of the dressing room waiting on me to be finished. This encounter was odd and seems to me to be a discriminatory act.

Love the clothing, good sales usually, in store ordering is quick and so is shipping, eveyone was helpful and very courteous. Wish more items were available in store as far as jeans, looks like most are online only except for whats the hottest trend. All i could find was jeggins and mom jeans, no boot cut or regular ones.
