We purchased a custom fabric sectional from Southern Motion, which unfortunately caught fire on the loading dock and had to be remade. Although the delivery took 5 months, Kim Baber, the Customer Service Manager at Garden City Furniture, sat down with us to resolve the issue. Despite the initial delays, we are thrilled with our new couch and absolutely love how it looks in our home.

I have fallen in love with Garden City Furniture. It is only a block away from me. I recently purchased two couches that I love, along with two end tables, two lamps and a coffee table. When it was time to buy a king size bed and mattress, off we went to GCF. We found a bed that we love and a mattress that is wonderful. Would I come back here? Of course!! If you see me there, stop by and say hello and look what I'm buying this time.

Beware this is the worst business I've ever done business with . Do not ever them let talk you in to there warrantee it's worthless and the their furniture is of such low quality,. I'm surprised their still in business

My husband and I were shopping around for furniture for our home. We were going to all the big box stores. We found that the furniture there was cheaply made and over priced. So we decided to check out Garden City furniture. It was the best experience we have ever had and we got top quality furniture for decent price. Definitely are going to go back again. If you go into garden city furniture ask for Sue she was awsome.

Outstanding Company. Everyone from Sales staff, to business office to delivery ultra professional, helpful and friendly. Prices reasonable and competitive. Furniture high quality. I have been doing business with this company since the 1980’s and definitely recommend them.

I purchased 2 bedroom sets and a dining table in early 2022. I had no problems. I had no hesitation in spending over $4,000 to furnish a 10x10 room. Lydia Manhold was an awesome sales person and I would think she would say the sale was pretty easy and I was pleasant to deal with. Please read this to the end because if I knew how bad their customer service was I wouldn’t have been so trusting. I took delivery of two couches and 3 tables and because the painters were not done I asked the delivery people to leave the tables right outside the door in the hallway. I signed for the furniture and did not expect it closely. What a big mistake to have a reasonable expectation that the furniture would be delivered without an issue and in good quality. When the painters were done the pieces were slid into the room. We are talking less than 10 feet! It was then that I noticed that one piece of furniture was damaged. I immediately emailed pictures to Lydia. Today Lydia emailed me back and said I had to contact customer service. I did and i once again was told to send the pictures. Kim got back to me and basically said that she spoke to the delivery people and the warehouse and it never would have been delivered it ‘that way’. Kim told me I should read the back of the receipt and that are you ready for this, “I waited two days and anything could have happened”while the furniture was in my house. That was it, no apology, no offer to make it right. What a tough lesson I learned to think when you spend a lot of money on furniture you should expect a certain quality and a flawless delivery. I feel this was handled horribly by Kim and she basically told me in her own words that it was her word against mine. She told me “I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree”. I am blown away by this and would be happy to take a lie detector test if her warehouse and delivery people did the same. Ok Kim and before you try and bash me and say I write a lot of bad reviews please know that I don’t and it takes a lot for me to write any reviews and the service has to be exceptional or horrible. Before you buy into the buy local mantra and how long they have been in business please look at the comments about the quality of some of their furniture. And what ever you do don’t be nice and trusting and tip delivery people and have any expectations that you are dealing with a classy company. You won’t be with GC Furniture.Who would have thought you could spend close to $20,000 in less than two years at a store that’s a few miles from where you live and be treated like this. Buyer beware! You’ve been warned!

Garden City Furniture Co is a very nice furniture store. They have a large selection and are willing to order something for you if necessary. Everyone is very nice and professional. We purchased a desk and a chair from them. We recommend this business.

Their in house designers will consult with you every step of the way and their prices are reasonable. I was also impressed with the very professional delivery service. I truly felt that the entire staff at GC Furniture cared about my satisfaction with my purchases.

We purchased a leather steel base reclining couch with a extended 10 year Warranty . We began having problems with the seats squishing down after just a few months. Poor customer service, but ultimately sent their service man out to add stuffing. They have been here now 3 times in 2.5 years. Called today for the same issue and was told warrenty does not cover this and the person on the phone was snippet and rude. Buyer beware- looks pretty in the store, but won't last nor will they stand behind their products!

if you receive a window of delivery, expect the window the change. if you expect good customer service, you won't get it here. If you want rude responses and an unwillingness to make wrongs right then this may be the spot for you.
