Truly a self-serve store. No, I don't want anyone following me around but when a swatch is needed, it would be nice to find an employee, especially if I'm the only one in the store. As a decorator, I have shopped my share of fabric stores. It has been quite a while since I've returned to this one.

Our experience at the Fabric Emporium of Garden City SC was amazing! I found a wonderful accent chair in dire need of a makeover and brought it to the Fabric Emporium.You will find the fabric design of your dreams there with all rows and rows of different fabrics. We were assisted by a very sweet young lady Katie who listened to what we had in mind and led us to several fabrics we liked and she even suggested a fabric we never thought of and loved.They are very reasonably priced. The sales ladies are wonderful! Just can't say enough about the customer service. They even have a gentleman there that helped with getting our beautifully reupholstered chair in the car!

Hugely accommodating and convenient store. Had the need both for approx. 30yars of fabric for floor-to-ceiling drapes and re-upholstery of 4 dining room chairs. Store offers a wide variety of both remnants and full bolts. They were able to handle both requests including referrals to an upholstery seamstress, verification of yardage on the spool, re-do of the chair pads, and delivery to our unit as we are about 1,000 mi away. We did 3 visits to the store and were helped end-to-end by Katie who exemplified helpfulness, courtesy and communication through the entire processes. They get it right!!

Our family own a couple of condos in the Garden City Beach area and have worked with Fabric Emporium on several projects over the years. They have recovered stools, furniture, and most recently rebuilt the seats for our dining room chairs. Their selection of fabrics is incredible, workmanship is great, and the customer service is amazing. Excellent customer service. Vast inventory of fabrics. My wife and I were very pleased with the fabric we purchased. It was the first choice our sales person pointed out as an option for our antique chair. I was very impressed with the relaxed, no pressure, friendly atmosphere. highly recommend this business for fabric needs and upholstery services.
