There are no words to express how utterly devastating it is to lose a pet, but what makes it unimaginably, exponentially worse is a cremation service that doesn't even bother to check its paperwork and "overlooks" that you requested a clay imprint of your pet's foot. I clearly initialed that exact option on the form and paid for it, PLUS it was in the vet records/notes, only to get a call from my vet's office a little over a week later and find out that Tall Pines had "somehow missed that part on the paperwork." Why am I even filling out paperwork if it's not being given the rapt attention that such a delicate line of work not only requires, but demands?!?! So basically, they made ashes out of my and my boyfriend's 8-year-old beloved bearded dragon WITHOUT getting his footprint and tailprint, and we had to hear it from the receptionist at the vet. No one from the actual company bothered to call us and explain, much less apologize. Everyone makes mistakes, but some mistakes cannot be rectified, and this is certainly one of them. It is inexcusable and unforgivable. It's like we lost our baby all over again. Any grieving pet owner who's already coping with the loss of a precious and irreplaceable family member should understand the magnitude of this "mistake." That clay imprint was as important to us - if not more so - than the ashes themselves. It was going to be our last memento of our baby, the last piece of him we had to hold on to, but we'll never be able to do that, and refunding the money I paid doesn't even come close to making up for it. There IS no making up for it. This is NOT ok, and I have zero faith in Tall Pines thanks to this appalling error and complete lack of professionalism. I hope to God that this doesn't happen to any other unfortunate pet parent.

I'm giving this service four stars because they put my German Shepherd's ashes in a beautiful box in which I chose but then put the box in a small bag as if it was an item purchased in a store. The box didn't fit well. It was put in sideways!

Tall Pines treated us with such compassion and respect when our little angel, Harley, when he passed away. I would recommend them highly to take care of your fur baby should the need ever arise. Grant Nicholson meet with us personally and gave us the assurance we needed to trust them with our little baby. They returned the ashes in a beautiful rosewood urn and Harley's paw print along with a scroll of his cremation certificate. Now we have our precious with us forever.
Thank you Tall Pines so much.

Tall Pines was very respectful and helpful after the passing of my two rats. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has lost a fur baby.

I just saw your website. Very professional. Can't wait to see the business in operation.
