Were we at the same party? That was AWFUL!This event is way oversold and is so crowded and cramped that it feels dangerous on the dance floor. Its a total booze fest with 20 somethings that cant hold their alcohol. ABSOLUTELY NOT worth almost $200 per person. The entertainment is decent at best and that's really where it ends. We were pretty disappointed and left hungry and annoyed. Our group definitely DID NOT have a good time and we would never recommend this event to anyone. Especially if you are traveling from out of town to attend.

Rang in the new year on the Yorktown for my first time. Had a great time with my girlfriend and a bunch of close friends. Dancing to good tunes with beautiful fun people dressed up on an old war ship in the harbor? Nothing else like it. Totally unique. Absolute blast!

This event grosses over $250,000...that's over a quarter million dollars. From what we experienced its very very clear that this is simply a money grab for them. Guest experience obviously doesn't matter and the way everyone is crammed into these limited areas is so uncomfortable. There is nothing more fun than being in a sea of 22 year olds that can't handle their alcohol and you have nowhere to go.I STRONGLY recommend finding something else for NYE. It was so terrible that we left well before midnight. People were throwing up, grossly intoxicating and all in all it was the least classy NYE we have attended and would NEVER spend $180 hard earned dollars on something that disappointing.DON'T BELIEVE THESE RAVE REVIEWS

This is hands down the best party in Charleston for New Years Eve. The venue is large enough to give you the feeling of a huge New Years party without people being on top of each other. The entire ship is tented and there are heaters outside so you don’t have to worry about weather. AMAZING music from the best DJs in town, great drinks and food. The team that puts this together really goes all out. Ive done this party three times and it gets better every year. 10/10 recommend!

What a way to ring in the new year, the Yorktown Countdown was nothing short of spectacular!! With stunning views of the Charleston harbor and the Ravenel bridge, the aircraft proved to be an unbeatable and truly unique venue. The party was very organized and well planned. This was evident in the professionalism of the staff, the minimal to no wait for drinks, the quality of the entertainment, and the attention to detail shown aboard the ship. I thoroughly enjoyed Midnight City and the DJ/Saxophone duo. They offered a wide array of music and kept us on the dance floor all night long! Worth every penny, do not miss out on this incredible NYE experience!!

Always one of my favorite nights of the year! This event on the Yorktown is one of the best produced events in Charleston! A lot of GREAT music, drinks and of course dancing. My favorite memory from last year was DJ B , herfunky vibes had us dancing all night long! If you have never done this DO IT, trust me best event in Charleston. If you have DO IT AGAIN, every year they step it up.. it keeps getting better and better!
