This Scotchman Store on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is a great place to stop for all of your convenience store needs when you are in the area. They have been reliable and easy to get in and out each time I have been here. The staff here is very helpful and keeps things moving.

I dropped a bottle of Pepsi and it exploded, so I told the guy at the counter. He dropped the 5 person line to slowly put a wet floor sign. Then he proceeded to lock us all in. After my transaction he wouldn't unlock the door and told me to wait for everyone else's purchases for me to leave. I was stuck in the gas station for about ten minutes, all while the cashier bad mouthed me to every proceeding customer. I've never felt more compelled to write a yelp review because the way I was just treated is not ok. Not to be a baby or anything. Hopefully things change within the next year because I won't be back anytime soon. Ps. The cashier said f*** my mom too so that's nice

Very slow at the counter. Line was not that long but just took more time and the cashier did not seem to want to move any faster. Store was not super neat. Bathroom was decent but only a single stall so might have to occasionally wait.

I have never felt the need to do this before and share such an awful experience... Just be advised- if anyone is in this area DO NOT go to this gas station. I just went there and had the most unbelievably rude service. I was unable to purchase a beer and Diet Coke and finally gave up on my purchase after having to prove myself various ways to the employee Javis that I was of age and purchasing for myself...because I walked through the door seconds after two young girls did, i was then accused of being with the two.. I arrived to the gas station at a different time than these two girls, in different vehicles, and I was still unable to purchase anything unless I asked two strangers for their ID. Both the manager (Alex) and the employee (Javis) were rude and aggressive in their responses to me. The manager stated that since I walked through the door at the same time as them, this implied I was with them... The food is also regularly cold... I am beyond frustrated with this place and thought I would share my two cents. I have never been treated so poorly by staff for simply walking in a building at the same time as someone else...Lol

I loathe this Scotchman. The gas pumps are so slow. The lines are always long with people buying cigarettes and lottery tickets. The attendants are generally rude. The patrons are sketchy as all get out. Sometimes you'll encounter a panhandler. The parking lot is congested. Really the only almost redeeming thing about Scotchman Store No 102 is the Redbox, but even that doesn't make it worth your time. Honestly my best tip is to avoid this place like the plague.
