Steer clear if you're renting large equipment. Unfortunately, I didn't have the choice and made the mistake. Single worst customer service experience I've ever had. I'll save ya the details, but let's just say I have filed with the corporate office after my experience.Trust me, you're better off going to a local equipment rental shop like A-Z rentals or Sunbelt..maybe they'll have some competent employees that'd care about customer service, instead of employees who only care about getting medical benefits, as one employee so eloquently stated. Not bitter, but ya live and ya learn.

A+ SERVICE!? REEVE is very knowledgeable and super helpful! ?He even helped load our equipment in the middle of a tropical storm! We didn't realize they rent ALMOST ANY piece of heavy equipment you might need. Thanks, REEVE and Home Depot!

Window install nightmare! First installers had no idea what they were doing and tried to use a crow bar from inside house when windows had to be taken out from outside of the house. After damaging outside of house (which was fixed by next group of installers after I contacted the Better Business Bureau) there was still the damage to the inside of the house. They now have had an insurance person call me from Sedgewick that is apparently trying to throw the blame onto the first contractors! I signed my agreement with Home Depot not the person THEY sent to my home! This whole experience has been incredibly unprofessional! Now I have to wait and see if the contractors Home Depot chose have insurance to cover this? I definitely don't want them back in my home under any circumstance but this fact seems to be ignored by Home Depot.

This is a wonderful group of people. They try to do their jobs even when they are getting harassed by bad customers. We've always been able to find what we are looking for and people who are really helpful when on the search for home items.

This is the second time I have been to the Home Depot in Mt Pleasant and the same man with a Ford truck has gone in and stolen thousands of dollars of large items. I asked the employee why they don't call the police and she said they aren't allowed to and this man comes in weekly. Who is covering all this theft? I don't feel comfortable shopping somewhere that laws aren't enforced. Today the manager asked the guy for a receipt and the man pushed the manager. Still nothing was done... sounds like something that can turn into a dangerous situation.

Absolutely awful customer service. I ordered a rug through the customer service desk IN THE STORE using two gift cards and a coupon. The wrong rug was shipped to the store, but i didn't know that until i picked it up and unwrapped it at home. I brought the rug back, had them refund my money and order the rug again. Instead i was given an in store credit and told to order online. Luckily I sat in my car trying to do that and the credit couldn't be used online so i went back in to have customer service order it for me. Guess what THE WRONG COLOR WAS SHIPPED AGAIN! SO they had to open a "case" and figure out what was going on with Home Depot online. I get a call to go back in. I get a refund of $148.40, exactly what i paid for the rug the last two times. Now the price is listed at $198.00, and they wanted me to pay that! After everything I had gone through with this dang rug, they wanted to charge me even more. Well after arguing my case the manager (Jimmy, who is an absolute j*** by the way) lowered the price to $175, still more than i originally paid for the last two rugs that had to be returned due to home depot mistakes. SO after refusing, and asking to get the price to exactly what i was just refunded, Jimmy is huffing and puffing ready to blow the store down and gets the price to $159.40. Then makes the comment, now i have to figure out how to get my $11 back because he used the company card to pay the difference. I still don't have the rug i ordered over a month ago, so we'll see if the right color is shipped to me. Long story short, corporate needs to fire jimmy and improve their customer service. Don't shop from Home Depot. I'll go to Lowe's from now on.

Customer service is so awful we just left and came to Lowe's... we needed help with cabinets and countertops and the ladies in that department looked at us like we were bothering them. 3 different ladies not even looking up at us and basically mumbling back at us when we asked a question. We just finished our visit at Lowe's and we were approached by 3 people asking if we needed any assistance. Go to Lowe's. It's 5 mins down the road.

VETERANS BEWARE! If you have no ID other than "veteran" on your driver's license, you get a discount only on selected holidays. Lowe's gives you 10% off EVERY day with the driver's license ID. I AM , indeed, a veteran but do not use the VA nor am I in the active reserve. GO TO LOWES FOR 10% EVERY DAY !

Consumers beware of the carpet sales bait and switch tactics that are employed at Home Depot. My wife and I spoke with a sales representative in the Mt Pleasant SC Store and he quoted us a price of approximately $19/yard for the carpet we selected. When the measurements were taken and the final quote arrived, it came to over $29/yard! When I called the number provided I was informed that the quote included the mandatory carpet padding which cost over $8/yard. No mention of this was made at the store and as you can imagine, this leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Had Home Depot been upfront with these add on costs, things may have been different, but for now, we are checking Lowes prices for carpeting and doing so with far greater care. The same care I will apply to all future home depot purchases...

Well-stocked and smart staffed, it's a pleasure to go to this Home Depot. There's always someone in sight to point me in the direction for whatever I might need and make helpful suggestions when I can make a better choice.

Service matters. Unfortunately I feel Home Depot does not teach nor train the staff in Customer Service. My experience today was as such: --no "hello" greeting upon entering the store by an associate grabbing a shopping cart. --I was shopping in the seasonal Christmas area and no greets by 4 other staff, yet they stood by talking to each other. Only 1 other engaged with me after I initiated the conversation. --walking the back main aisle 3 more staff close by, but no greets, as wondered about looking lost. --then the lack of staff cashiers at full service registers, instead they have nothing but self service registers. Nice store, but Home Depot needs to staff the registers and provide engaging customer service.

Honestly, the new store is very nice, clean and has lots of options for things. The tile selection, flooring selection, lighting selection are great. The problem and I mean BIG problem is there are no employees. The store is huge and they have minimal staffing. From the self checkout lines to barely having any staff walking the floor or working in the sections (appliances, flooring, lumber, etc.). We waited over 20min to find someone to answer questions regarding flooring and appliances. When I went to the front to customer service requesting assistance, they responded with well someone should be there. Finally, when we walked back to the section a couple of employees came over, but weren't knowledgeable about flooring. All in all, if you're looking for options and you know exactly what you need and don't need any employee interaction then you're set. At least Lowe's has the option to call an associate to the desk.

Beautiful new store, horrible customer service. Incredibly difficult to find employees that can/are willing to assist. Had to visit the store twice to have three keys made... each visit lasted more than 20 minutes for a task that should have been completed the first time, in under five minutes. I will not be returning and I will be surprised if this location survives.

So I went into Home Depot in Mount Pleasant on route 17 with 2 dead flowers that cost me $30 each. They lasted all but 3 days and I had faithfully watered them each morning. I must have thrown the receipt out but because I didn't have it they could only give me store credit. I never shop here usually and am not married so the credit would be useless to me. The Melissa in customer service could not do anything else about it and I NEVER saw Linda the manager on site. Poor customer service was demonstrated today at this Home Depot today. Thumbs down to the establishment. Also I want to add that when I brought the 2 dead plants into the Garden center I was quickly dismissed to inside customer service without helping me carry them in. Meanwhile I am a below the knee amputee who is very petite and it should have been obvious that I had problems carrying it in as I almost dropped it several times.... There's no compassion for those who are disabled???
