The employees at Time to Shine are always friendly, professional and respectful.Paul went above and beyond tonight to check in on me, made sure I had everything I needed, and he helped clean my large cargo mat. He is a great employee! Bravo and thank you!

I have never written a review before, but I am kicking myself for not asking for my money back. I got the $12 basic car wash because my car was a little dirty. Not caked with mud, just a bit dirty. I went through the wash and went to go use the complimentary vacuums. When I stepped out of my car, I saw that it looked like only the front half had been cleaned (not cleaned well, but you could see that slightly better than the rest of the car). The back half was not touched at all. On the roof, you could literally see where the spinning brush had stopped touching the car. And the man in the car next to me had the exact same problem. He tried to clean it off by hand using the window-cleaner spray they provide. Maybe there is a problem with the equipment or the sensors, but I immediately drove to a "do-it-yourself" car wash to fix their bad work. I will never be going back to this car wash.

I just moved here from CT and needed to get my car cleaned. It's near where I live so I thought I'd give it a try. The cost of the was is a quite a bit more than what we pay up north but it does include a station to wash your mats and a couple of different nozzles with a strong quality vacuum included in the price so overall a good value.

I have never posted a review before but this place is the absolute worst. Time to Shine should not be in the lowcountry as the carwash is a hazard and the owner does not care. I took my truck to the carwash and had the antenna broken off and the side scratched. I showed the damage to the staff on duty and they apologized and said that I needed to call their manager. When I called, he asked how I got his number, said he would look at the CCTV recording, and then hung up. I never heard back from anyone and had to pay for damage out of pocket. My next step is BBB and Mt Pleasant Chamber of Commerce. Avoid this place. Service and professionalism not worthy of the lowcountry.

I have a monthly membership which is great if you have a black car that needs frequent washes. The fact that vacuums and mat washing are included with every wash is really nice. The only complaint is that the wash seems to not totally get the top of my trunk clean. That may be due to the size or shape of my car but I usually can just wipe it down when using the vacuum and it's all good.

They break antennas frequently. We spoke to Chase, the VP of operations for the company, and he said it happens several times a month across their various locations. When asked why they always refuse to stand behind their service and pay for the repair, he said it is because they believe that all of these small shark fin antennas “are a design flaw” of the car manufacturers and it would be too expensive to try to protect the antennas before they enter the wash. So, I guess all of the global car manufacturers got it wrong and this little Time to Shine operation has got it right. They could alter their equipment, but instead choose to put a small sign citing the 20 year old antenna policy (meant for long retractable antennas) at the side of the wash that you can only see after you pay for the service. I suggest you go elsewhere. To the reply below: We have already contacted you numerous times. Your VP said he WOULD NOT make it right. Apparently, you are fine with ripping off parts of cars. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

I have never felt the need to write a review for a business until today. I can confidently say that my experience at the Time to Shine Car Wash in Mount Pleasant was an absolute nightmare and most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered from a business. Not only did their equipment cause over $1500 of damage to my car, but the way they handled the situation afterward was utterly appalling.McDaniels Audi of Charleston offered me a coupon for a free car wash from Time to Shine after a service appointment, which I happily accepted. I was excited to get my car cleaned after having over $5000 worth of servicing and repairs done to my Audi. After going through the carwash and looking at my car, I realized something was not right. The equipment has ripped off my shark fin antenna cover and part of the computer chip it covered (just what you want to see after paying for servicing and repairs). I informed the two kids working the car wash, and they gave me a claim form to fill out. After not hearing anything for about a week, I tried to call multiple times and no one picked up. I went back to the car wash to speak with the manager in person, who just so happened to "not be available." I got the email and phone number for the manager, Ray Palmer, and contacted him regarding the situation. He seemed initially apologetic and promised to rectify the situation. He assured me that they would cover the cost of the repairs, and I thought my ordeal was coming to an end. I sent in the two quotes and received a heartless response from the same manager who had promised to make things right. He now claimed that he no longer works there and had no intention of actually repairing the damage to my car. This shocking reversal of their earlier commitment left me feeling utterly frustrated. It's one thing for a business to make mistakes, but it's an entirely different matter when they refuse to take responsibility for those mistakes. The Time to Shine Car Wash in Mount Pleasant not only failed to provide a basic service but also displayed a complete lack of integrity and accountability in handling the aftermath. Their empty promises and unprofessional behavior have cost me not only time, money, and stress but also my faith in their business.I implore anyone reading this review to steer clear of at all costs. This establishment lacks the fundamental principles of customer service, and their negligence caused me significant financial and emotional distress. Save yourself the trouble and find a car wash that values its customers and their vehicles.

I would give this place a zero star rating if I could. Took my car here to be washed and my car was damaged in the process. Reported the issue to those working as there was no manager on-site and was advised that the damage would be covered. Spoke to the manager later that day and explained what happened was advised to obtain two quotes from repair facilities. After getting the quotes I was told they would NOT be paying for the damages as it is posted on the building that antennas are not covered. Problem is that this sign is not visible until AFTER you pay and enter their facility and exit easily. Total damages is $1600. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

My recent visit to the self-service car wash left me thoroughly disappointed. I paid $32 for what I thought was a "SUPER CERAMIC" car wash, only to realize that I was expected to wash the car myself. There was no clear indication of this self-service nature on their signage. This lack of communication is unacceptable. Nearby car washes offer full interior and exterior cleaning for just $25, making the $32 I spent here seem like a waste. I intend to seek a refund for this misleading and unsatisfactory experience. In the future, I hope the management clarifies their service offerings to avoid deceiving customers. Until then, I recommend others to choose car wash options that deliver what they promise.
