This has got to be one of the most worthless banks in the Nation. The general culture at Synovus is lazy and difficult. They act nice but getting anything done is impossible. No one follows up and their technology is terrible. Good luck with online banking as it locks you out constantly. Tried recently to get a POA (which was crafted by a lawyer and used successfully at another bank) so I could manage a sick family member’s account. They wouldn’t approve our legitimate POA and told me that when I get straight to get back to them. The family member is on a ventilator in ICU. i told them this when I presented it. I found such a list of conditions and commentary to be insulting and typical of this awful bank and it’s multiple locations for which I’ve had similar difficult and cavalier attitudes.

Worst banking experience ever. They will hold deposits on new accounts for 3 weeks. They will not disclose this, they just do it. A new account can be 30 days according to one banker but another banker says 60 days.Each time you call you will get conflicting information. Not only that the manager is very rude, Brian Calles.I called to try to get another branch as my main branch because he made it clear, in so many words, if you stay on his good side he will do favors, if you dont, he wont return calls and can close your account without reason. Extremely arrogant.Seriously, stay away!

My experience went from terrible to amazing when I walked into this branch and after dealing with many people that were so rude in the teller line Christine Simpson was the only one that really made my whole day and experience turn around. Thank you for the outstanding customer service. They are lucky to have her!
