Specialties: They specialize in everything from cuts to color, and Lonnie even does makeup for special events or weddings. She is truly a beautiful person inside and out, and she always goes above and beyond to ensure you're satisfied with her work. Lonnie asks a lot of questions to make sure you leave happy every time.
Hair type: I have shoulder-length hair and I'm very blonde, though it has become curlier at times. The team at Strawberry Blonde has shown me everything I need to do to manage my hair, always going above and beyond. They explain the products they use and ask me questions to understand exactly what I'm looking for in terms of color.
Stylist: Overall, I would say Strawberry Blonde is one of the best salons in all of Mount Pleasant. Lonnie has been working on my hair for a long time, along with another coworker, Jess, and I can confidently say they are both truly amazing. They go above and beyond to give you the perfect cut and color, always being professional, kind, courteous, and just amazing in general.
I have found everyone in the salon to be professional and kind, and I highly recommend all of their services. Whether you choose Lonnie, Jess, Zach, or anyone else in the salon, you can expect excellent service. I have used various stylists for a simple blowout when my regular ones were unavailable, and I always come out feeling fantastic.

Tiffany was my hairstylist today. She was so kind and sociable during my appointment. She was very knowledgeable on the products she was using and had great recommendations for my hair type. I was running a little late but the salon was so accommodating and understanding. Can’t wait to go back :)

Hannah is the best stylist I've ever had, whether it’s cut, color, or complete transformation. She’s also great on educating clients on best ways to care for their hair and best products to get the look you want. I’m continuously impressed by her skills and professionalism. She’s also so funny and friendly and makes the whole experience fun! I trust her completely and always leave feeling like I got exactly what i wanted, or even better.

First time at Strawberry Blonde Salon in Summerville and it was wonderful! The salon is very clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely ambiance. Staff was very friendly and Daniel did an amazing cut on my hair!

Went in for women’s haircut with Dayton and she was very nice and professional. She listened to all my requests and concerns about my hair asked me if I had any additional questions before beginning and executed exactly what I wanted! :) She took her time and made the over all experience very relaxing and enjoyable. Will be back!

Magen at Strawberry Blonde in Avondale is simply fantastic! I’ve been regularly visiting her for 5-6 years and will never go elsewhere or see another stylist. She honors appointment times, is extremely talented & detail oriented, and just a lovely human! I’ve gone platinum blonde, brunette, all the colors between, and even went wild and did the most perfect Barbie pink during Covid. She is a master colorist / stylist and worth every penny. The salon uses Bumble, R and Co. and Redken products- all are curated selections & I’ve never been steered wrong. I love being able to show Magen a photo or two and get her feedback / if my idea is realistic… and when it is, she does just that!! Cannot recommend this salon or Magen more. She also gives the most amazing scalp massages, and follows it up with a hot towel treatment which is lovely! The vibe is modern / industrial / minimalist yet elevated. There’s coffee, wine, beer & water provided and it’s truly just an hour or two+ of delightful pampering that we all deserve. Also Colin at the front desk is a delightful human & they are blessed to have him! Two thumbs up for Strawberry Blonde!!!

I have been having my hair done by Sam for almost seven years and she is wonderful! She is a master with color, cut and styling. I change my hair color every few years and she can do it all flawlessly. She’s also seen me through styles from chin length to waist length. We have become good friends and I would HIGHLY Recommend her to anyone!
