Clerks were rude (Scott? - I saw someone else posted a similar experience). Not sure on the relationship between he and David Dumas, but I'd take note. Reality is that the downtown location has 85-90% of the merch of this outpost and the folks are way more helpful.

Southern Tide by Dumas in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for cool and unique clothing and accessories. I have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here.

Scott is an awesome guy. The night before my wedding I had my white southern tide shirt In the washer and it was ruined so I called down there and he was willing to stay after they closed to make sure I got a shirt to wear for my wedding and he even picked it out so I didn’t have to search for it.

I was running late on a Sunday and called Scott to let him know I was on my way. He was happy to wait for me as I was struggling what to get my wife for her birthday. I frequently get clothing from Southern Tide ever since I tried it out and I am big fan. While I was there Scott was helpful and patient finding my son a pair of jeans that fit. This is a top tier clothing store with service to match.Highly recommend Southern Tide in MT Pleasant to anyone who is looking for a clothing store.

The clerk Scott was extremely rude. He was too busy watching the NFL game, snotty, condescending, and was very bothered by my questions. Little does he know I went home and ordered hundreds of dollars of Southern Tide online. Will not be back.

I walked in and the store was empty except for one older man and a younger man behind the counter . Neither said hello or asked if I needed help, I was totally ignored. Look around for a while and walked out ... still never being acknowledged by the help .
