My credit card was overcharged and I got it back. The deposit has not been refunded to me yet. I will never go to this restaurant again. The experience was very bad.

Great hotel and in a great location. Very comfortable rooms. Would only suggest attention to detail when cleaning the bathrooms but otherwise felt very clean.

The bathroom was gross there was hair all over & stains on the shower floor. Didn’t even attempt to use the products they left as they looked gross & empty. The shower door didn’t even seal so it just swayed back n forth. But the craziest thing is when we passed by rooms house keeping was currently in the process of cleaning, one of the workers was laying on the freshly made beds watching videos on her phone!! So gross and unsanitary. For almost $300 a night it wasn’t worth it all. The beds were only twin size & the fridge had a hole & was rusted. Staff seemed like they were just chilling at home & we were bothering them the entire stay. Absolutely would not recommend. I don’t even know if they laid on our bed prior to checking in as I saw this happened twice throughout my stay. Also after leaving we were so itchy, hoping it’s not bed bugs . However it is in a good spot- close to Sullivans Island, Shem Creek & Downtown Charleston. It felt very safe. This would be the perfect hotel if they cleaned up more & the staff was trained better on do’s/ don’ts while guests can easilly see them. But don’t book this hotel for the view as there isn’t one. The pool has seen better days. Good for a family of 4 but that’s it. very small.

Honestly no complains, it's clean and affordable. Pillows could be better but overall it's a great spot.

Pros: Great breakfast, clean rooms, lovely hotel.Cons: Didn't receive the hotel room I originally booked, had housekeeping knock on my door an hour before checkout even though I had the do not disturb placard up, finally received a call about my uncharged pet though I put it in the notes and the pet was with me at check in. The call was insulting and accusatory even.Noteworthy details: $30 pet fee

Overall 5/10, cant complain for the price. Hotel room was clean when we arrived, hallway smelled like pot for the duration of the stay. Breakfast was decent. Vending machine did not workNearby activities: The aircraft carrier Yorktown and the DD Laffey.Walkability: You can walk to some places, I personally would not walk after dark unless you are in a big group.

DISGUSTING!!! We reserved for 2 nights, however, upon check in, our first room had filthy sheets. They clearly had not been changed. They moved us to another room. Not only were the sheets filthy in that room, but there were BED BUGS!!! In the elevator was a grocery bag full of SPIT! In the halls there were trash bags with “medical supplies” in them!! I chose to take my small children and find another hotel instead of staying in a place that was clearly not safe for MULTIPLE reasons. I spoke to the manager Mr. Patel who refused to refund my money that night because he needed to “investigate”. Since then I have left multiple messages for him and Expedia has as well. He has ghosted us and Expedia and as of now I still don’t have my money back. We didn’t have a choice but to leave and find another place to stay. I’ve paid for 2 hotels now, ruined my kids break as I didn’t have extra money for the additional hotel, and he won’t even return a call. STAY AWAY!!!!

Booked a room through my capital one venture card using 16,097 miles and $34.84 to stay for two nights for $195.80. For those that don’t know, reward miles convert to cash when you book through the capital one app (ex. 16,097 miles = $160.97). I paid with my miles and the rest with my credit card at time of booking a day prior to my trip, confirmed by receipt. After making a 3.5 hour trip I walked into the lobby around 9:30pm to a woman who was slumped over sideways in her chair and I said hello. I was greeted with her moaning and yelling about her ankle as she began the process of checking me in. She appeared to be high on drugs and seemed to have a hard time getting the pay kiosk to operate correctly. She then informed me there would be a $60 hold for potential damages to the room, which makes sense, however the total on the kiosk was $225 and she told me the room was NOT prepaid. I showed her a receipt, confirmation of booking, payment methods used, and tried to explain that I used my travel miles to pay for the bulk of the cost. She began to act rudely and refused to acknowledge my receipt and proof of payment. She would not give me my room key without paying again for a room I had already booked and paid for a day prior. Out of frustration, exhaustion, and pure lack of desire to argue with this rude, unprofessional, and potentially inebriated employee, I folded and paid the extra $225 for a room I had already paid for. It took a lot for me to stay calm but it simply wasn’t worth getting into it with this aggressive and rude employee. Rest assured I will be taking this up with management and disputing this charge if necessary. Absolutely unacceptable to have someone who has no respect for guests or any idea of how to do their job working here. I will be back with an update to share how this was handled. Hopefully management will make this right and my review will change. So far this has put a huge damper on what was supposed to be a fun weekend trip and my first time in Charleston

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Dirty, water doesn’t work well in rooms, they put out expired creamer for coffee and gross dirty breakfast food. I don’t have high expectations when it comes to hotel rooms I just ask for cleans rooms with towels and things to work. Go anywhere else but here!!Food & drinks: Expired and dirty like jail food
