It’s big enough and small enough to feel comfortable. The Holy Spirit is definitely there and it is a wonderful heartfelt word and worship.

Fantastic church! Awesome music and great teaching. Our teenagers even enjoy it!! Plenty of small groups to join if you want in depth bible study or specialized groups. The Holy Spirit is working in this place!

We had an amazing visit at Seacoast on Palm Sunday while visiting Charleston. This is a very large church/campus but everyone is friendly and they have many people set up to help make the visit very easy from parking attendees to front desk information to the congregants themselves. Very friendly and loving people at the 11:30 service today. We also heard a wonderful message. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

I brought a friend to church today after months and months of begging them to try it out. The church itself is amazing, and each preacher is so different. Is there a preacher review site I can put this instead? I had never experienced a bad sermon (just ones I liked more than others) UNTIL now. Andi Andrews.... I wanted to root for her so darn bad because you don't see many female preachers. After stating she had a hot Aussie husband, she proceeds about a story that in no way relates to the sermon. It was like fifteen whole minutes of talking about her family going to disneyland.. Everyone was a little confused about the relation to the sermon and then I figured it was probably a story to help people to relate to her on a personal basis except for the fact that it was the furthest thing from relatable. You told us how you can be like a drill sargeant to your kids and I 100%believe it- it didn't leave a pleasnt feeling behind. Please stop snapping your fingers on stage. I'm more angry than anything because my friend will not come back to church after that. Their table was for sure flipped in the wrong direction.

I am grieving for my husband whom I lost 5 weeks ago. I watched this pastor preach on grief. And I'm finding answers. Thank you, Josie

I love this church. I've been going here for as long as I can remember. The people are so kind and welcoming. Others might say that "its more like a rock concert" or "the messages are shallow" or "It's not even worshipping god" or "all they want is money", but the people here truly are good. As long as you are worshipping God, it doesn't matter how you do it. This is my happy place and a second home to me.

We’ll totally disappoint it!!! But then again if you looking for entertainment this is a place for you ! All I can say from experience it’s a well money making oil machine. When you looking for church that you can actually worship together, this is not the one for you , it feels like we were at some concert and the whole thing build not on Jesus but off n money so so disappointed.

The most important thing I needed in a church was to feel at home and this church gave me just that.It is a beautiful church and everyone is so welcoming.

I learned more in Sunday school as a child than at this church. The ministry has had a shift in the past few years since I first attended. Was not nearly this watered down when I first started attending, would be nice to hear more of the word. The good worship leaders now sing at other local churches in the area and left.

It was great until the facade of Seacoast crashed and burned in my eyes. I always felt the messages on Sundays were shallow, but knew it helped bring in new attendees/nonbelievers. But as I grew into adulthood here, I learned that superficiality didn't end there. One of my main memories of here was seeing the Surratt family drive up on Sunday in Hummers, probably bought with untaxed tithes. Once the new untaxed $14mil building was announced (and even afterwards), the tone shifted. Seacoast stopped feeling like a church and more like a corporation, and I'm not the only one who feels this way. When I questioned the ethics of millionaire pastors, I felt silenced and shunned by everyone.Counseling here sucks. I seeked out mental health support here as a gay teenager, which was sadly a mistake. They say to come as you are, but just like every other church, they will try to change you eventually. Find a real, licensed therapist or marriage counselor who can still be affirming in faith for you.Two good things: Dream Center does amazing outreach and felt like a family when I served/attended. I used their COVID drive-thru for testing after I left Seacoast entirely, which was awesome. That is what church should be about!

Everything! Worship, God’s family, the powerful sermons! I truly feel the presence of God in the most profound ways at Seacoast Mt Pleasant. On my very first day I was greeted warmly and graciously. My second visit I was “welcomed home,” and prayed over three times and invited to join The Dream Team! Yeah HOSPITALITY is my jam!! A few short months later I am honored to be on the Seacoast team ROCKIN babies in Lil Coaster. Thank you Jesus for leading me to Seacoast! God you are forever FAITHFUL and STEADFAST. In His Service, Deb Sweaney-Handley

I am not a person of "faith". In fact, I think the bible is filled with inconsistencies and weirdness that seemed like a good story for the time it was written. Either way... this church does a lot of good in the community. They seem open to people of all walks of life and that's important. I don't like the sprawlish nature, but as long as they contribute to society in positive ways and do not try and convert people to their belief, I am good with it.
