If you don’t mind a dirty room and questionable stains this is the place for you. Walking into the room there was what looked like melted red crayon (at first glance I honestly thought it was blood) on the ground and it was clear no one had at least vacuumed with all of the crumbs and random things on the ground. For the price I wasn’t expecting an amazing experience here but I did hope for the bare minimum. As we got ready for bed we immediately found distinct stains and even strands of hair in the sheets. I called front desk to ask if we could have different sheets sent up and I was told they didn’t have access to housekeeping and I was then hung up on. Not even a suggestion of a solution. I then went to turn off the lights and turn on one of the lamps, but there was no light bulb in it, as well as the bathroom light needing to be switched on and off five times before it turned on. I’m pretty disgusted, disappointed and glad we only stayed here one night. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a place to stay. If you do stay here and end up having problems like ours don’t expect to get any assistance.
Update: I contacted front desk as soon as I noticed these issues and was met with no help whatsoever.
Safety: Safety wasn’t great. I couldn’t even lock my door.

Staff very rude. Room was not up to standards. Dirty refrigerator, dirty comforter, no water pressure, no housekeeping for 2 days, shower coming out of wall, door handle coming off bathroom door, and toilet paper holder broken. Dirt under lamp shade. Staff told me I would get a refund for my last night since I left really. After arguing with Priceline and general manager John they refused to give me the nights refund
Rooms: Dirty and ran down

On June, 2023, we had to drive all the way to South Carolina from New Jersey, and the reason why we had to go to South Carolina is because my husband and my son had business to do there, we needed somewhere cheap to stay for 6 nights, I had to go with my daughter, my son and my husband, the trip from nj was 12 whole hours, and when we got our rooms, the room smelled like someone had been smoking weed, which was considered an unpleasant smell, and my daughter felt something sticky on the bottom of the table, and the cursed looking toilet had graffiti on it, left by the recent guests, and this over here is the reason why I would rate this red roof 3 stars, and the only thing that I liked about the red roof inn is that it is nearby some of the restaurants, my husband took the car to work while me and my daughter walked to the nearby Wendy’s.

We made an impromptu overnight stay in Mt. Pleasant and chose Red Roof from a Google search...mainly for the price.
We were surprised to find very nice accommodations, a pool, a location close to Patriot's Point and other interesting sites.
It was a short walk to find excellent food choices, a shopping center and easy access to the Ravenel Bridge and Charleston.
So glad we found this hidden gem.
We will be back!

Becky at the front desk was outstanding. I have delt with her for years great person personality. Her suggestion of dinning is spot on. She is one reason why I keep going back

I like Red Roof Inns. Before I went to Charleston, I checked out several motels. The location of my RRI, Mt. Pleasant, is 2.5 miles across a beautiful bridge from downtown Charleston. It is a ideal location (Mt. Pleasent is a destination itself and everybody should go to Patriot's Point), the price was as good as it gets in a ideal location/tourist town, the staff was the usual RRI great, There was a beautiful swimming pool area, a comfortable swing overlooking a tranquil pond, and a picnic area with a grill. If price is a concern, any Red Roof Inn is worth a look. This one was perfect at any cost. Thanks to the Manager, Becky.

Becky is the reason this hotel runs smoothly! She’s the glue that holds it all together. Everyone does their part & it’s a well oiled machine. We’ve been staying at Red Roof Plus Mt. Pleasant ever since I moved to Atlanta more than 20 years ago. Becky has been here the entire time & this time, she made a miracle happen. Our reservations somehow disappeared & thank goodness ? she was working! She fixed it & we got our favorite room! We love you Becky & Richard! ?
Rooms: King Superior room has lots of space & it was clean & we loved it! The shower was awesome lots of water pressure too!
Nearby activities: Swimming pool was clean & not too noisy. Beach was packed so you had to go early! Our doggie Sheba loves the Red Roof Inn too!

Checked in Friday afternoon. We had neen using the same towels for 2 days since no one had come by to change out our towels. We stopped the lady to ask for room service on Sunday morning, Her response was maybe tomorrow. We check out Monday. That is a little late. That was disappointing.

Right in the heart of Patriots Point and very convenient to Fort Sumpter and Aircraft Carrier tours. Very clean room, I did my typical checks, top of microwave, air filters on AC and inside of refrigerator as well as pull bed from wall. All clean. ALTHOUGH! When we entered there was a strong smell of body odor, that only went away after I ran the fan and held the door open. Otherwise...nice stay, quiet with nice pool.
