“UPS Store #2174 inputted my address incorrectly. I spent $100+ for overnight shipping, they made a mistake and the package was not going to get to me until the following day. They said they would help and advised they were calling to the UPS central location in Charleston. After waiting for them to call me back three times, and never receiving a call back over multiple hours, I called the store closest to my house and spoke to Tyrell. He works at the UPS store located at1150 Hungry Neck Blvd. Tyrell is amazing. He went above and beyond to help me even though the package was not shipped from his store and he did not have help on this issue. He located the package, and called the local driver to find out where she was on her route so I could drive to meet her and pick up the package. That is an example of customer service excellence. It just goes to show how helpful some people can be and how well they do their jobs versus the store that made the mistake that would not help even when it was their fault. In addition Store 2147 would not refund the overnight costs despite that this took up 4 hrs. of my day and I had to physically drive to retrieve the package. The person I spoke to would not even give me her name. Thank you to Tyrell. He's great. 2174 should be shut down.”
