Dr. Jones and his staff at Portside Veterinary Hospital are absolutely amazing! We have 4 pups and they are all cared for by Portside. If you are looking for the perfect place to bring your 4 legged fur baby for exceptional care I highly recommend Portside Veterinary Hospital. Your fur babies will thank you.

Very happy with our visit at Portside. The entire staff is nice and friendly. They are able to schedule an appointment for our cat Dash the morning we called. Dr Jones is friendly and takes great care of Dash who has bladder infection. He even did a cold laser therapy on him for free! We highly recommended Dr Jones!

Fabulous Team! So grateful for Dr. Patrick Jones, Sydney and Amanda. Glad to have a Vet who spares none of his extensive knowledge. Took great care of my Cat!The follow up was very good ?? and I was happy for all the help and attentiveness they offered to make sure my Kitty was doing well, after the visit.Thank you, Dr. Jones and Team!

Sadly, we had to put our senior dog to sleep today. The entire staff and Dr Jones were incredibly caring, attentive and empathetic . They turned a terrible situation into a compassionate send off for our beloved pet. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

Great experience for both me and our dog Winston! We have a 3 year old Golden Retriever that is scared of his own shadow. Dr. Jones and his team were great with him. They took a new approach, allowing Winston to run off some nervous energy in their attached space before his visit and then creating an environment where he didn't feel panicked or confined. Dr. Jones' entire staff was patient, personable and professional. Awesome experience! Here is Winston happy as can be after getting home from his visit!

We were so excited to see that Dr. Jones had started his own practice! He has known our dogs since they were just a few weeks old, and we value the consistency and familiarity that staying with the same vet provides.

Searched all over the Charleston area for a vet that understood, and had experience with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals hip and elbow xrays for my Boykins. Portside vet was fair priced and Dr Jones and staff filed the xray results for me with OFA. Most of the clinics around do not do these xrays, or had some outragous fee that basically said they really didnt want the trouble of looking up the OFA specs.Ive now completely switched to them for my full time vet, and just brought our latest pup to them for first checkup. Dr Jones and staff provide excellent care, and take the time to address any questions or concerns.

Dr. Jones and his entire staff are awesome! They are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and sensitive to our pet’s needs and to our needs. They all treat our dog as if he were their own pet. We feel that we get the very best of care from Dr. Jones. He goes to great lengths to make sure our pup is well taken care of. Couldn’t ask for a better veterinary practice!

Awesome staff and facility! Feels more like a visit to see family than a trip to the vet. It's clear Dr. Jones loves animals and is dedicated to their care. He has done well at assembling a like minded staff. The facility is also the most modern/well equipped I have ever been in. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jones and his team are fantastic. We moved to the area a while ago and have been searching for a vet to replace our long-term vet (20+ years). Our dog's groomer recommended that we visit Portside and it was an immediate win. They have been great with our cat & dog - including a recent dental cleaning for our senior dog. The facility is one of the best I've ever seen and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them!

I can't thank Dr.Jones and his wonderfully caring and amazing staff enough! My Rosie,4 year old Pug, was in distress from bladder stones. Our vet on James Island could not see her due to the Thanksgiving Holiday approaching. So he recommended Dr.Jones' and his brand new state of the art practice. The best thing is the kindness and care they gave sweet Rosie. The vet techs were very thorough and observant and full of love for the animals (and their humans).I highly recommend Portside Veterinary Hospital and I feel blessed that Rosie was the first surgical patient at the hospital. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a vet. Since I moved here from New York, I was looking for a vet that was close by, just in case. Found out Dr. Jones is the guy there, was one of the top doctors at a highly ranked vet clinic here in charleston until he decided to open up Portside. Brought my dog (puppy pic attached) in because she was peeing really frequently, Dr. Jones asked a ton of questions and explained all the tests he ran and prescribed her some medicine and recommended some good treats to hide them in, and even called me a few days later to see how she was doing, I’ll definitely go back for her Highly recommend!!!
