Went to this location on 11/17/23 to cash a check from a client that was written on a PNC Bank check but had already bounced once when submitted through my bank. Discovered this PNC location was a "finance center" only and that no traditional banking could be done. The CSR stated I had to go to the Calhoun Street location in order to cash the check. I asked the person if they could at least verify that there were sufficient funds on hand in the client's PNC Bank account before traveling to downtown Charleston to cash the check. The CSR stated that it's against PNC Bank policy to reveal if there are sufficient funds to cover the check. In summary, a very negative customer service experience. I do not recommend banking with PNC Bank.

I used to love PNC and have banked with them for many years. Those days are over. The new PNC is closing branches like crazy. I no longer have an actual bank in my town nor do I have a full service atm. I have to drive 30 miles to get to a real live bank and and a full service atm. Going to have to switch banks.

This is no longer a full service bank. And there is only one in the Charleston/North Charleston/Mt Pleasant/Summerville area. Pl

Customer service has been awful since the start of Covid. PNC has decided to shift towards being an online bank but is apparently holding onto branch locations, rendering them useless. They don't take check deposits inside, even when too large to do on mobile app. The one time I need to open a new account, both bankers were not present during normal business hours.PNC...if you keep the branches open, commit to doing it well. If not, shut them down. As for the new account I needed to open, you lost it to a competitor.

Useless bank. The only one in my area and they decide to go “cashless” and only offer one ATM in the parking lot for all withdrawals and deposits…. But even that ATM is out of service. So other than opening an account…This branch is useless.

They have terrible customer service and are totally interested in the banking industry.

This location doesn’t offer deposits inside. You have to wait outside to deposit cash. On top of that the atm doesn’t work and spits out almost all of your money. You’ll end up spending 20-30 minutes trying to use it. Which i find extremely unsafe. I showed up today to try and deposit some cash again and the atm was just completely shut off with someone working on it who rudely flagging me away without even letting me know if I could wait to use it. Will be moving to a different bank after being with the company for many years. Zero care for customers anymore.

If I could give less stars I would without a doubt the absolute worst bank I’ve ever had. Nothing but problems every single time. God awful customer service.

This location of PNC no longer takes deposits in the bank. You have to wait in line and use the ATM, and employees can only make deposits if they’re issued an official deposit card to use in the ATM. Very inconvenient and really shows their lack of care for their customers, we will likely move all of our business accounts away from PNC. They said they were rolling out this new ‘model’ in many regions, I guess the future of banking is paying all the fees for the convenience of a physical branch and getting none of the benefits. Online banks are the way to go, no maintenance fees, no BS corporate policy changes. Good riddance, PNC ?

Notary for customers? Only for certain documents... what baloney! Need a jury summons document notarized for my son to be excused as a student, and they refused to do it. While polite with the refusal, they stated they could do things like financial papers or citizenship documents, but not this?? Really?? Either you can determine accurate identity or you cannot --- this was rediculous.

Really appreciate this branch and how friendly they always are. I also really appreciate that they print debit cards here and at their location downtown. This is such a great convenience. We have been with PNC for almost 10 years now and their customer service is a huge reason why. Fortunately, I don't have to visit their locations often as their app allows me to do so much from home, but when I do visit, they are truly wonderful to deal with. Thank you Mt Pleasant PNC!

This PNC location is very nice and all of the associates I’ve dealt with have been very friendly and helpful. After a recent visit, I was asked by email to participate in a survey about my experience and was contacted by phone after by the branch manager to follow up and thank me for my business. Additionally, I’ve needed several difficult letters handled for me for an immigration application during Covid-19 and Kawana was very patient and helpful in drafting the complicated and detailed documents I needed. While waiting for my documents, I overheard several interactions between the staff and guests in person and through the drive-thru that demonstrated great service and care.

The people here are inconsistent, provides incorrect information and gives you the run around. Ive been trying to move my corporate account here for over one month and have had back and forth from the management. Im very displeased with the service provided.
