I had went to Paws in Paradise twice total, The first time was fine the owner was pretty rude but I assumed she was just busy. The second time however was my last time and I will not be returning. I have an Australian Shepard and asked for a cut, came to pick him up and they SHAVED him. Yeah. Aussies aren't suppose to have their hair shaved, I was pretty upset got no money off and again the owner was really rude. There's another woman that works there that was super kind and I enjoyed her. But I will not be back disliked the environment and owner.

Cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff at Paws in Paradise! We've used their daycare for several years and recently boarded our dog Gus overnight for the first time. He's a fairly anxious dog, so we were a bit nervous, but the PIP crew was incredibly kind and reassuring. They took great care of him and he came home happy as a clam. It's a true testament to their patience, professionalism, and love of dogs!

I would not take my standard poodle anywhere else. I've utilized their overnight boarding, and grooming services. Brandy is the best! Noone knows how to cut and style poodles better than her!

Our Chiweenie loves coming to Day Care. We took him to a couple different places prior and were not pleased with facilities, staff, etc.Pluto absolutely loves coming to daycare and barks in excitement when he sees Paws. The staff is incredible and over our 5 years of using them it has largely been the same staff that have got to know Pluto. We moved and still opt to drive 20 minutes out of our way to bring Pluto here because of our experience with Paws. Thanks for always taking good care of Pluto!

DO NOT take your dog to get groomed here. They shaved my Flat Coat after I asked twice not to as it will damage their coat. They did it anyway, still charged me full price, and when I called them out on it claimed they never have seen him. A year later is his coat has still not recovered and probably never will. DO NOT take your dog to get groomed here.

My mini golden doodle has thrived since she’s started going to “school” at Paws in Paradise. She goes batty when I ask if she’s ready to go to school. If it’s a day where I’ve slept in, she becomes insistent, barking in my face, heading out her doggy door and straight to my car. She’s always shown a calm demeanor EXCEPT when we get to PiP and that’s when she starts bouncing to see her friends. This place has been a Godsend for my girl. I truly believed her to be a tad depressed until she found her “pack” at PIP. She is well loved and content amongst her peers. Some dogs just really crave that pack atmosphere and Pip delivers it! Their boarding is top notch as well. My dog loves her stays there!!!

I do not recommend this groomer. All I can say is beware. I discussed with the groomer the length and that she did not have mats and they basically shaved my doodle. I asked them to take her nails down as far as they could and they left them extremely long. When I went back to have them redone the front desk girl insisted she was badly matted which was not true. Do yourself a favor and go to someone else!!!!

I LOVE Paws in Paradise, and, more importantly, my dog -- 1.5 years old and timid around most humans -- loves it, too. She loves everyone who works there, and I love having her there either for daycare or boarding, knowing she is in the safest, most cautious hands possible. The staff cares about the wellbeing of each individual dog and lets you know if something is "off" so it can be addressed right away. They are also extremely supportive and proactive in these instances. My dog, MJ, for example, sometimes is a bit socially awkward and can't pick up on social cues. As a result, the Paws in Paradise staff moved her to another group of dogs who could handle her challenges with doggie etiquette. :) While there is a waitlist for Paws in Paradise, I am SO GLAD I didn't write it off and I stayed the course on the waitlist. I'm never taking MJ anywhere else again!

I've been bringing my pups to PiP for many years, and we love the staff, the owner, the play yard, and, of course, the other day campers!

Our two dogs (2 girls: 2yr and 3yr) LOVE going to Paws in Paradise! When we ask if they are ready for daycare they act like they are going to Disney and when we make the final turn toward PIP, there's full blown happy feet and bouncing, complete with excited wiggles and whines. The entire staff are not only kind and incredible to work with but also highly attentive to each dog in their care. It's so nice to know that our girls are not only having the best time but also being closely looked after by loving staff members. We also appreciate that there's equal importance placed on safety and fun. The staff enforces vaccine requirements and appropriate behavior for all dogs which gives us peace of mind that our girls are having a great time in a safe and happy environment. They even have webcams set up so that you can check in and see just how much fun your pup is having during the day. The pool during summer months is another highlight. The added bonus is after daycare our girls come home happily exhausted. The entire staff goes above and beyond to bond with each dog. They take the time to celebrate each dog's birthday with pics and pup cups. They also organize seasonal celebrations like Halloween costume contests and Holiday photoshoots as well as coordinate a dog masseuse on-site monthly for those who want to book an appt for their pups to get some extra tlc. Further, they offer a broad array of additional grooming services - our girls don't even put up a fight when we ask them to clip their nails which is amazing. The owner, Brittany, is hands down the best groomer in town! When we travel and aren't able to bring our girls with us we board them at PIP and the girls have the best time - it's like sending them to a sleep away camp. The level of care is unparalleled. When either of our girls has needed special attention or medication during daycare/boarding the staff at PIP has helped us navigate each unique situation. Our entire experience has been overwhelmingly positive - it's made us feel less like we're dealing with a business and more like we're entrusting our dogs to family which is really special. Every member of their dedicated staff is wonderful. I can see why they get so much recognition and continue to receive "best-of" awards year-after-year. They truly are the best and we are so grateful they take such good care of our girls! Highly recommend!!

This review is about two years late, but I still think about it enough to make it worth my time to write out. I brought my corgi here for a three day stay after completing his meet and greet. I had another place that I had boarded him when I lived in a different city and absolutely loved the care and attention they gave and was really hoping this to be similar. My dog is on medication, which I brought with me and thoroughly explained that he was to receive one pill that day and had already had his dose the day that I dropped him off. These instructions were also on the pill bottle that I supplied and it appeared that someone at the front desk had typed this information into the computer as well. Dropping off on Friday I called both Friday evening and Saturday to check on my pupper and was told he was doing great. On Sunday morning at around 8 AM I received a phone call that they were out of medication for my dog. I instantly knew that this was not possible as I had given them enough for his three days plus an extra pill in case one got dropped. Essentially they overdose my dog. The excuse was is that they weren't sure whether he had received his dose on the day of drop off so their policy is to just go ahead and give it "so the dog doesn't miss his medication". I had been available by phone, email, smoke signal, whatever and they didn't even bother to check...they also didn't bother to inquire either time I called. They said they then gave him his medication again on Saturday morning but cannot account for whether or not it had been given again Saturday evening. Since there were no pills left I have to assume that it was given. Being out of town, I had to arrange for a family member to come and pick up my dog and find a place for him to stay for the remainder of time that I was gone. My dog was absolutely snowed and was not himself for several days after. At the time that I had received the phone call from Paws in Paradise I had asked them to please have a manager or owner or someone with some authority to call me as I was very upset. I never received a phone call and when I reached out to them several days later I was told that they were expecting me to stop by and really seemed thoroughly unconcerned with what had happened. The lack of any kind of concern, empathy, or ability to communicate professionally with one another leads me to believe that these people absolutely do not care about the animals that they are serving. My dog very easily could have been seriously injured after being overdosed and they could not have cared less. The kicker was is that over a year later I received a phone call wanting me to know why I hadn't paid. My card was on file but had not been charged on it at the time and given my experience I assume they realized that they majorly screwed up and didn't charge me.

This my 2nd dog here. My pup, Dani, and I are very happy with the facility and the staff. It’s clean and well run. And there’s a pool to cool off in.
