Wanted to like this place, walked in, and found 5 employees all hanging by the front door. No problem there. I was asked if I was looking for something as I walked in. Again, no problem. I told the guy who asked, "I was looking for T-shirts," and he pointed me in the direction I needed to go.
Once I turned my back and walked down one of the aisles, the skinny, taller, blonde employee immediately mocked for some reason. The all shared a laugh at my expense. Even now, I'm not sure why. Maybe my northern accent???
Im not one for this kind of treatment, so I left immediately w out giving them my business.

My wife and daughter went in there to surprise me with a new skateboard. They could have easily taken advantage and sold the fanciest setup. Instead they hooked her up with the greatest bang for the buck. This crew is the best. Always friendly and helpful. Easily my favorite skate shop after 20+ years of skating. Buy local.

Brought the kids in to get new boards. Great inventory selection and even better staff. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Best surf shop in Charleston, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

We love parrot surf & skate. They helped me buy my first ever surf board almost three years ago, and I have absolutely loved it. I still love it! As a newbie, I bought a 7.0 modern love pop out. It was a great recommendation by Alex & Grant. They have so much local knowledge and are just nice people. Highly recommend this surf shop.

Awesome shop, even more awesome staff. Brought my 7 year old son in to check out boards and Elijah (sorry if I misspelled it) came right up to us and started showing him all of the boards that would be good for him. He helped both of us build our decks and explained the entire process and why he suggested what he did. Again, awesome shop, awesome staff and we will definitely be back for future purchases.

Great surf shop. Not a lot of parking and not really a big shop but they deff have a variety of clothes and other items. Customer service employees are friendly and very knowledgeable about surfing and can help you with anything you are in need of. Great experience, will definitely be back.

I have seen this store rise like a Phoenix from the shell of a building I almost moved a flooring store into.I was in Mt Pleasant on Monday I saw they are doing well.?? Good job
