I will never go to another salon!! Ben has done my nails for as long as I have been here and without a doubt is the best! The last dip manicure lasted me 6 weeks with no breaks or lifting because I was too busy to stop in. Everyone I’ve recommended here loves it! Highly highly recommend!!! They’ve got the latest and greatest and do a wonderful job!

Sistas! If you’re looking for a relaxing spa environment, where you’re treated like a valued client, this is NOT it! My visit here today set our culture here in South Carolina back decades. I walked in, I knew exactly the services I wanted, the nail technician seemed very hesitant or maybe even a bit nervous while removing my existing gel. He went to apply extensions on my nail bed that had not been filed and cleaned completely. I had to ask him to please clean my nail prior to applying gel. He responded by saying everyone does it different. As you know ladies that is a requirement no matter the case, especially when you’re removing any gel or powder that may have existed. He then asked the gentleman at the front desk to do my nails. My initial thought was his behavior could have been due to perhaps not knowing how to do gel powder, so many get the dip nails now or acrylic, I thought maybe he’s new. The now annoyed man at the front desk sat me in his chair asked me what I wanted, told me he didn’t recommend gel. Informed me and the rest of the nail salon that it would cost me $75, because lord forbid this black African American woman couldn’t afford it. At that time, when asked I showed him how I wanted my nails done. When he filed my first hand before applying the gel I simply said they don’t need to be shaped so narrow, you mentioned the shape being coffin. His reaction was him throwing his hands up, stating “this is not working, the picture you showed me is coffin. I don’t think I’ll be able to do your nails, I can’t make you happy. I’m gonna just remove them.” I was so taken aback by his behavior. I had been there for an hour already and he had barely started the process past on to him from the junior technician. I then was subjected to sitting there while he removed the nails cutting off whatever little bit of nail I had, speaking to me in this condescending manner, telling me to look at his reviews, he does great work. He even went on to say maybe I was only seeing a reflection of what I was putting out. I had only said three sentences to this man. Excuse me, maybe my blackness was too loud, I don’t know… At this point it made me no difference, I could care less what he thought of himself. My only response to him was “maybe you just dislike ME telling you what style I would like.” Discrimination at its best. It’s not for us.

10/10 experience every time! Ben is lovely and does a great job every time. Their entire staff makes sure you’re taken care of with every service you get! Great color options too.

Most definitely one of the BEST Nail salons in town!!! The staff is amazing and so talented!! They have a HUGE selection of colors and super clean!!

Very poor work. We got 4 pedicures and 3 were all chipped the next day. I feel like because we didn’t get gel nails they could have cared less. Their product is OPI but I never had my toes chip in 24 hrs. Find a different place to go to.

I have finally found the best nail salon in Charleston! Ben always does an excellent job. He takes his time and makes sure it's exactly how I like it and done perfectly. Always checking in with me. I've sent all my friends here! Lisa did a great job on my friends nails as well. 10/10!!!!

I've gotten my nails done regularly in NYC and decided to give this place a try since I just moved here. I would give my visit today 3.5 stars, but for nail shape I'll give 4 stars. I had come in asking for a design, if it wasn't possible I had no problem looking for a different design... in the end I settled for something just to finish my nails after a white French tip had been done that looked very sloppy. I will try a different nail tech next time recommended by the other yelp reviews.

Donna is amazing! First time getting my nails done here and extremely impressed - best place I've tried in Charleston over the last two years. Great atmosphere, fair pricing, nail technician with extreme attention to detail and getting it right. Loved it! My mom and I got dip manicures.

I am not from here nor do I live here and this is by far one of my best experiences at a nail salon out of the 5 states I’ve got them done in!! They listened to exactly what I wanted and even did more!! I’m not sure his name but I let him do his own thing on my accent nails and he did amazing!! The heart flame is my favorite design! I highly recommend!!

Bihn is by far my the best nail technician. He always gets my nails exactly how I want them. Mimosa is such a pleasant place. Everyone is very nice, the place is very clean. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best nail salon in Charleston area. Moving from dc my expectations are high and I’ve never left disappointment. Staff is incredibly friendly, artistic, and gentle. Love mimosa!
