I emphatically DO NOT recommend KB CLEANERS/Longpoint Road/Mt. P. I was with ON THE SPOT for a decade until they changed owners, jacked up their prices and abolished all discounts. That and they were very rude to me when I brough what turned out to be my final clothes to them for cleaning. So I shopped around and found KB CLEANERS on Longpoint Road. They are outrageously priced too, but at least offer discounts to good customers. First load of clothes they did, no problem. Used my 25% discount when I collected my clean clothes. Today I went buy to collect my second load of clothes that I used them to clean...and when I presented my 25% discount, I was rather curtly informed by the girl that I had to give them the discount when I dropped off the cleaning. I kindly told her that was not the way it worked the first time. She pointed to my discount coupon and in a tiny font it did say must present upon dropoff. Clearly somebody got it wrong the first time. I am a rule follower. Clearly the thing to have done would have been to honored the discount "this time"...and I would have followed the rules next time. My girl rudely said, "SORRY"...so she made an extra $30 for KB CLEANERS...and just lost thousands of dollars over the next decade in my business. They have gotten the last penny from me. I will find another cleaners that knows how to treat good customers with kindness and respect...and will see it a good business practice to bend a rule like this in the future for a good and loyal customer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND KB CLEANERS on Longpoint Road. Avoid them. They are rude! There are too many options these days to have to put up with their rudeness. Roger Gaither/Isle of Palms, SC

This place ruined an expensive blouse by getting what looked like an oil stain on it the size of a tennis ball with splatter marks and it had a tacky feeling to it. They said they could fix it and when I went to pick it up a second time they handed it to me like everything was fine. I checked it before leaving and it was not fixed. I gave it back to the girl and she said she would leave a note for the manager to call me. The manager never did. I called back and was told it couldn’t be fixed and so obviously I wanted to be refunded for the blouse and the cleaning fee and was told the owner has to handle that and that they would leave a note for her to call me. Weeks went by with no phone call, even though I was calling at least weekly to get an update. Last week I received phone calls from an unknown number one day; it said “no caller Id” so I didn’t answer. They never left a voicemail and called as late as 10:53 at night. A couple of days later I was reading the reviews on this place (that are very accurate) and saw where someone said the owner called them from an owner number so I thought if the no caller Id happened again I would answer. Today after I tried calling the store again with no answer, I received a call from a “no caller id” number so I answered and it was the owner. She said there was nothing she could do about my blouse bc what happened to it didn’t happen at her store which it 1000% did (read the other reviews for similar stories). She said the stain was from an adhesive and that they use all green chemicals. She got short with me and said she had been trying to call me to which I responded if you’re referring to the 1 day I had missed calls from an unknown number with no voicemail after the weeks of me trying to get in contact that’s unacceptable. I told her the only reason I answered this unknown call was because I saw in another review that she calls from unknown numbers. She said she’s talked to Verizon about this and she doesn’t know why it happens and that it’s a glitch- interesting story. Then she said she would file an insurance claim for me if I had the receipt or could get it from the store. It’s been over a year since I got the blouse and I don’t have the receipt. After my experience thus far with the lack of customer service and the weeks it took to even get a phone call, I can’t imagine an insurance claim process with this place would do any good.

Absolutely terrible dry cleaners. Lost a fairly new suit, then damaged another suit with stains. When I asked about reimbursement I was given a complete run around. Never will use this business again.

This place is awful. The owner is awful. Shrunk a very expensive piece and is refusing to replace it.

Rude, disorganized and close at 5. Took me 5 days to actually find/get my cleaning. Will never return.*KB’s reply to this review doesn’t even pertain to my issues with the store. Good riddance.

This place should not be in business. They have ruined so many pieces of clothing. The owner refuses to refund anyone and only contacts you from an unknown number.

Tried KB drycleaning for first time and they did a wonderful job. Brought a males sports jacket it and forgot to tell them about two stains. When I picked it up, the stains were not there and the jacket was perfect for only $9.75 and only $9.26 since I paid cash. There is ample parking and even a drive up if you're that lazy!! The staff is very nice and respectful and the premises are clean and tidy.

Took a king size comforter into get dry cleaned. Went to pick it up and they gave it to someone else. Been fighting with them to get it back or replaced for six months. Phone number listed is disconnected. While I was in there on one of they many occasions a woman was mad because they lost her husband’s suits. Stay away from this place.

All the 1-star reviews? Wow. They are totally right. I can't believe a owner would behave this way. Insulting to their customers - LITERALLY SWEARING AT ME. Avoid this business! Owners doesn't value her customers!Brought a dress in for dry cleaning. Dress was ruined during the process - see photo. Employees and manager tried to re-do the cleaning, but it didn't help. Was then referred to the owner for a resolution. After finally getting in contact with the owner (Ann), she swore at me, called me a derogatory name and told me I was being impatient. Continuing on, I was told this is from a manufacturing defect, and direct quotes from the owner - "we don't have problems with items that are not defective" and "it is your dress and you have to deal with the store it was purchased from."So the cleaners took ZERO responsibility. Told me to find the receipt from where I bought it and deal with them. Hope everybody who uses this cleaners keeps every receipt!!!Been 45+ days since the original cleaning, and I've reached out a couple of times - voicemails and texts are not acknowledged. Still have not received any of the promised "supporting documentation" from the owner to prove this was a manufacturing defect.Now we have a $250 dress that is ruined. And the owner wouldn't even refund the cleaning charge.Take your dry cleaning elsewhere! There are plenty of other nearby options!

My mother in law referred me here, when she knew I was trying to find a reliable cleaner and I’m grateful she did. Love the service. I’ve been coming here for 6 years and there was only one incident when my husbands suit was not ready for an event that we were attending but… LIFE happens and nobody’s perfect. I’m very satisfied with the customer service and drop off / pick up is very convenient.

The store had already closed when I went to p/u my husband’s clothes. He needed them first thing in the morning for a trip he was taking. I drove behind the building and found some very nice employees who politely told me the store was closed for the day. I explained my situation and a kind gentleman went and looked for my clothes. I will always use and recommend this dry cleaners. They went above and beyond to get me my clothes and the good this is my husband will never know shhhh!
