On April 18, the reception, Erin, dropped the F bomb on my 76 yr old mother 2 times. Made attempts by phone, email and text to reach the manager, Maria, to tell her about the incident but to no avail.

Never use this company. No one gets back you, i was left waiting in the office for 1.5 hours and had an appointment. I walked out, it was during my work day. Tried to set up a virtual call, no one turned up. No one answered my questions ended up having to submit my return the night before the deadline. No idea if it is correct. They sent me a survey, I gave them one star, Kimberly emailed me then said she would call. She still hasn't, weeks later.

H&R Block on Oakland Market Road in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for all things professional tax help and more. The staff here is very knowledgeable and makes sure that you get all of the help that you need. Good experience every time I have been here.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They mislead you and leave out information so they can defraud you out of your hard-earned money. Jeff seemed like a nice enough guy but I would've liked to know it would be $350 to file BEFORE he started working on my taxes, as the website offers upfront pricing. So it's kind of hard to back out once you're locked in, should've seen the red flags then. But hey, he was helpful and seemed to do a good job and when we said we wanted our return as a check he said the Federal Government charges $25 to cut the check but we could do direct deposit and just pay them out of the return. Well, Jeff, if I didn't want to spend $25 on a paper check why would I want to spend $39 ON THE FEE YOU APPARENTLY CHARGE TO DO THE PAYMENT OUT OF THE RETURN THAT YOU DID NOT TELL US FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS ABOUT?! When I was ready to pay the day of???? This place is fraudulent, disappointing, and I will NEVER be a customer again and its unacceptable the lengths I'm having to go to get $39 refunded that I was never advised about. Completely despicable and heinous. Truly a terrible, predatory office. I wonder what a lawyer would say about the legality of a bait-and-switch practice like this.

Absolutely despicable business practices. They steal your money in fees they never tell you about and then give you the run around and never answer the phone when you question why your tax refund is missing money. I'll never use any of their services again and no one else should either. These people are nothing more than thieves.Update: called the number they listed below and it's just another run around. No one helped me and I didn't even get to talk to a real person it was just a robot. These people are scumbags.

Shady office doesn't tell you about all the things they charge for until it's too late. Absolutely horrible practice, you're better off doing your own taxes!
