“I always stay in this hotel every time I travel to Charleston for work. It never disappointsRooms: Wonderful suite style rooms with a tv in each room making it easier to travel with kids as they can have their own bedtimesNearby activities: Located right next to the beautiful bridge. Located close to the USSFood & drinks: They have a really delicious chicken sandwich on the menu. Also the complimentary breakfast in the morning is always great. The made to order omelets are a highlight. Also the manager’s reception with two complimentary drinks each evening is a nice touch as well.”

“Joe at the reception and John at the kitchen are really hospitable and helpful. The room is pretty new without any issues. And the location feels safe, quiet, and upscale. Overall a great experience.”

“This is a very pretty area in Mt. Pleasant! As far as the room goes, the kitchen/dining area were a little cramped for two people, but we made it work. The bed was comfortable, but we found old mold stains on the pillowcases. An incredible housekeeper immediately threw those in the trash and replaced them for us. They did an amazing job keeping things clean. We enjoyed the free breakfast every morning, and for the most part, it was pretty good with many side options. There are also many shopping/food/coffee places within short walking distance. I recommend the Owlbear cafe for lunch. The reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that another person staying in the hotel was randomly attacked by another person in the hotel's dog and had to go to the hospital. It made us a tad bit nervous when encountering any other dogs in the halls. As this is a dog friendly hotel, that's something to keep in mind if you have small children.”

“When I booked this i thought it was closer to the beach. It took about 10 minutes to get to the beach. Which is not a long time but my issue is more with the hotel. We stayed at another sleep inn in Charleston. The beds there were amazing. But the beds at this location were less than average they were not soft at all. the pillows once you laid on them became paper thin. the smell of smoke lingered. The bathroom door was hard to close. The shower was nice. But not a lot of shelf space to put your items though. Had to place them on the floor of the shower. I really wish hotels did not have carpet. Carpet inside your home is fine but a carpet in a hotel when you have hundreds of people coming in and out during the week is kind of gross. This hotel did have a roach problem considering it was near the beach I thought this would've been nicer, but we won't be staying at this hotel again. Also, the card access from outside the pool area did not work so we had to walk all the way to the front no matter where we parked. Not all sleep inn are made equally.Rooms: Considering this location had some restoration I couldn't really tell. The beds were hard the pillows sucked. The bedding was thin. The sliding door to the bathroom would not shut completely, and I really dislike carpet in a hotel.Nearby activities: The beach is about 10 minutes away. They have a ton of shopping centers, restaurants in downtown is about 10 minutes awaySafety: I did feel safe staying there.Food & drinks: Monday through Friday the breakfast lacks. They only serve sausage and extras on the weekends. The lady who helps serve the breakfast on the weekends was super nice. The hotel did have a roach problem near the coffee machines, which I don't think anyone noticed because they were small, but I noticed, and they need to spray.”

“Spent three nights here on a pleasure trip to Charleston South Carolina -- it is a Budget motel but I was very pleased with the staff, cleanliness, layout of the room and the bed which is more comfortable than my bed. I would highly recommend this motel.”
